to be honest, hearing this makes me a bit emotional. Thinking that all this started from sneaking flintstones into videogame songs, and evolved into what I believe is one of the best musical events in recent history, with a lot of styles and original artists being represented in both a fun and high quality way, people making music, talking about the characters and just generally having a good time. Almost doesn't matter who wins, cause we all pretty much won already. Thank you SiIva team and all the people who contributed to this.

Can we like, keep getting dual-like rips every now and then even after the tournament ends? Like, they don't have to look like tournament rips anymore, but feel like one? For example, a Sonic Rush rip with a future funk motif so people end up going "Oh shit, Mariya and DJ are at it again!". I dunno, I just feel like this tounament is too big to just simply come and go, though I guess all good things must come to an end eventually.

This feels like a song that would play over the last minutes of an anime finale, where the main characters are finally traveling back home after their long journey, revisiting all the side characters who are happily waving as they rebuild their homes, until our main team finally arrives to their quaint little village, and as the hero bids farewell to his friends and walks to his small, quiet house, and as he enters he smiles at the free, cloudless sunset, breathes a sigh of relief, and closes his door. That’s what this song is.

the song i always come back too, this was such a lovely send off. might be one of my favorite ever internet events i ever participated in, such fun times. i was so invested, rooting for Mariya, but at this point when this came out I really couldve went either way. i was so happy, ever since she got kicked to losers in the first round it was complete domination, and professor K was also on a complete domination, never losing. it was so fun. one of these days i want to work on something to commemorate this event, this song in particular.
