The person who scoops in the oil, must have the softest hands on Earth

Sardines are so underrated. They are so unbelievably delicious.
-
Incredible history. Canning is probably one of the most important human discoveries.
-
PORTUGAL! Such an underrated country, amazing wine and food, great people, love from Romania!
-
I appreciate that the owner of this business didn’t automate the whole process with the technological improvements, he kept them even though he can fire them to satisfy his greed, he treat them like a family , you have a very good place in heaven old man 👨🏻🦳❤️
-
Look how proud she was to teach her how to just simply put a label on the package. That's how you know the workers are treated right.
-
I was eating a can of their sardines (spiced, tomato sauce) as the video played. I've done the same with other foods that have accompanying videos such as this one; e.g., capicola. It certainly improves the experience. It also helps me to forget, at least for a little while, the expense of these oftentimes imported artisanal food products.

Its so wholesome how the boss treats his employees so well and says that his team like family will be better than any machine ever will be. I am proud to say that I have eaten many Nuri sardines, and after watching this video I will continue to do so with pride!
-
Once again YouTube randomly unites us to admire Portuguese sardine canning
-
Watched this just a week ago, and then 5 days later found their cans by accident in my local fish store here in the Netherlands. Bought one of each kind, and these are the best canned goods I have ever tasted! I have become a regular customer for certain.

If the rest of the world only knew how good is our food and wine and not that expensive... Portugal traditions rock. 🇵🇹❤️

I'm an Australian living in Portugal and have become besotted by these sardines, absolutely beautiful....the spicy ones are the best in my view :) There is so much tradition in Portugal in every aspect of life, it's what makes the country so beautiful to live in and the most friendly people, I adore it here :)

The manager speaks with such respect about his workers, I believe he knows their worth - and he isn't ignoring quality!
-
That's a whole meal in a can. Meat and veggies with sauce. Much respect.
-
I bought a 4-pack from Amazon because it's not available in Australia after watching this documentary. Way more than what I would've paid for 4 tins of sardines but seeing how proud the workers are to put on their label, it's my small gift to them.
-
Absolutely my favorite sardine brand, they're delicious quality-control is stupendous and the consistency is outrageous
-
My father Loved these,,, my father was a machinist I remember when I was a little boy I’d stay up late waiting for him to get home on second shift he’d drink some Strohs beer and eat a can or two of these sardines and we’d watch late night television together.
-
The fact that this process still survives is quite uplifting - people still recognise and pay for quality - I find that moving.
-
I love this community and the factory. All of this can easily be automated but the owners value their employees over profits. Very rare these days. I will try and only buy these sardines to keep this tradition going. Good luck and a lovely insight into the work that goes into producing this excellent product

It is always so nice to see companies that can keep the tradition. These sardines look delicious
