In April 2021 we "celebrated" the one-year anniversary of Omens - an album we never had a chance to play live yet. We decided to film a short live set to celebrate that anniversary and also give fans a chance to 'preview' the material live.
Recorded between Germany and Massachusetts (where band members reside), the session was mixed by Richard Behrens at Big Snuff Studio in Berlin. Liquid light visuals and editing magic by Palantir Visuals.
Thanks to Zukunft am Ostkreuz for making the filming of this possible.

Sometimes I go down to the beach near my house at sunset . listen to music .drink some beer, light a fire and at some point between twilight and dusk this song comes on and I am right with the world

Thank you Elder! In 2020 a great old friend of me committed suicide and left me devastated, depressed and thoughtful. She was the only person I knew who was so passionate about Elder, she sang beautifully and was able to spectacularly play dead roots and lore songs on drums. Many times she talked about how great it would be to see Elder live, and now she is gone, but rediscovering Omens has been a way to ease the pain.

This Band has become the stuff of mythical legendary status! This tripped out clip of Halcyon and the album Omens, is the beast I hoped that someone, someday could possibly rival The Mars Volta’s “ De-Loused in the Comatorium”! Which I regarded as My greatest album of all time! Especially with the story Cedric made to go with it! But Elder can take music to all those wonderful heights you always Dream of! At the 11.25 min mark of this clip of Halcyon, the Band go to a place that’s other worldly! Into the heavens! That riff man! And all those accompanying fills that follow, and Nicks epic gun barrel soloing, make me Want to just listen to that over and over for days! And it’s soooo friggin amazing to hear all the wonderful comments below, also stating how mind blowing that ending is! Great minds think alike! Say No more! And those visuals! Like Wow! Wipeout! All I can say, is pretty please, come to Melbourne Australia! You guys are some of the most incredible musicians I’ve seen in a long, long time! Thank you soooooo much!
