Mike "I am 55 year old oil field worker in Alberta. When Victor talks about the farmers and soldiers paying the ultimate price for our ideologies it makes my eye's water. We need the working man and woman to be free, strong and prosperous. Thx you brother keep speaking the truth. Victor Davis Hanson has always been a favorite of mine.

This is phenomenal, two brilliant, well educated, articulate Americans, that I would I be proud to work side by side with. Even being a 70 yr. old successful “blue collar guy” , knowing there’s still people like these left in this country gives me a glimmer of hope!

I recently left the British Army, and come from a military family. By the time I left, I’d honestly rather fight against the government than for them. The country I would have gladly given my life for barely exists any more. And the politicians continue to treat us with utter contempt.

Mike Rowe is so articulate and carries a deep vocabulary which shows that ‘blue collar’ folks aren’t all yahoos. In fact, more tradespeople than not are well educated and articulate.

This was uplifting. My 47 year old son who has a Bachelor's degree in Pre-law and Sociology from UCR, went back to community college to learn H-Vac skills, and now has a $100,000 a year job as a dehumidication technician for a firm and travels, all expenses paid, all over the country.
