It’s so crazy how he came up with this plan to lay up short of every bunker and land center green on every approach and trust his lag putting. He did exactly that on every hole and never changed.

Whenever I'm having a bad streak, I come back to this video to give myself a visualization of how to hit my irons.

Finest display of ball striking the game has ever seen

Walked round this final round with the masses. He was so immensely, “in the zone”, almost robotic like. Awesome to watch.

All these people in the comment section have no idea what course conditions are all about. It doesn’t have to be green to be good. The greens still roll true and the fairways are still great surfaces to hit off of, it’s just a different color. That’s just classic links golf.

I still think from a Golf strategy point of view this is Tigers best major win. He had a game plan, stuck to it, and he was playing well enough to perfectly execute it. Brilliant win.

Fantastic round of golf. A masterclass in putting and iron play. He made it looked easy and made everybody else looked dumb.

My favorite golf match of all time. The hardest test of golf. Playing on a concrete parking lot. Absolutely beautiful.

This is vintage Sunday Tiger to me. In total command of the ball

Masterclass to play that course like that

Tigers best ball striking week ever! (that and the 00’ Us Open)
  • @lawbinson
How he is holding off on his follow through to hit it low is pretty awesome
  • @Zug75
why Sergio dressed like a banana we will never know.
  • All tee tee shots, approach and puts are all super good 👍 swinging with much confidence... Nice shots tiger 🐅🐅🐅
  • Surgical dissection of a golf course. Methodical. Businesslike. Disciplined.

That is a man that, despite being the best ball striker on the planet by a mile at the time, simply understood course management at a level nobody else could fathom...absolutely master-class in course management
