I love how Ross just 100% admitted “oh yeah I fu**ing traced that sh**”
  • Can I just talk about how "be cringe" is legitimately the best fucking art advice? Maybe I just grew up steeped in early 2010s cringe culture that set the expectation in my mind that I had to be good at art in order to even MAKE art in the first place and it stunted my artistic growth for over a decade, but I'm almost 27 years old and I'm still trying to kill the cringe police in my own head. The first step to being good at something is sucking at something. To be cringe is to be free.

arin's sheer "MEMORY UNLOCKED" happy yell and laugh over the boomerang detail at 22:54 was great lmao
  • @BarrelsOFun
Please let this be a series, I grew up new grounds with your guys animations and would love to see more.
  • @Redski127
Thank you so much for saying that everyone traced. I cried when Arin said it. I started drawing a year ago and recently found myself tracing and feeling awful about it.
  • @kingduck303
Arin pointing and yelling "The Boomerang!" is long lasting friendship all summed up ahahaha
  • @MeleeTiger
I love that there was so much crossover with Arin and Ross's old stuff. "Hey that's me... That's also me, I'm all three of these guys" 🤣
  • @merpderp1337
The timing of Master Chief's line is perfect at 6:33 "Did you trace this too, Ross?" "Nooooo...yes." "who saw that one coming"
  • @justadude450
2:21 It's crazy that she went from doing stuff like this to playing characters like 2B and Jolyne Kujo
  • @Sora_SlimeCat
I loved the Van Helsing movie so i can confidently say that the reason Tiny Ross used the Powerpuff Girls as the wives is because Draculas wives in that movie are a blonde woman, a strawberry blonde woman (redhead lite) and a brunette. Powerpuff girls was also airing at the time. I liked the movie for the vampire vibes and shirtless Hugh Jackman (or the slayer lady, this movie is bi af) just like everyone else who defends it lol
  • @XylessBrawl
I still remember when Arin started experimenting with uploading his animations to YouTube instead of NewGrounds, it seemed so weird initially because you lose the interactability of Flash animations. But also it loaded faster because it wasn't actually Flash lmao
  • @RythmicRaindrops
Man I really wish Jaiden could have been there for this recording. It would be cool to see everyone's beginnings in one place. I wouldn't mind if this became a mini-series with your other animator friends ngl
  • @BearlyAiden
"Hugh Jackmans shity film 'Van Helsing' that nobody remembers" Not this being one of my favourite movies as a kid lmao

I love that they weren’t super negative about their early work. I understand why artists shit on their old work a lot, but there are artists who see that work as at or above their skill level that will feel bad about themselves. These old cartoons were a huge inspiration for me
  • @squishyushi
Everyone traces is a message we need to spread, it’s ok to trace, just don’t be lying about it or passing it off as original work. Use tracing for practice, get your hand used to movements that you think look good in art, and then adapt your style to include things you learn, tracing will phase out of your practice as you get more confident in your own art

I realize now that I've been watching Arin and Ross for much, MUCH longer than Game Grumps has been around. They formed my childhood, and I had no idea.
  • @FutureRetroRoots
Even though Ross may be an older adult, he still looks younger everyday😁
