Just started the vid and looking very forward to this. Update- Finished the video and love your ideas. Made some very good points. I love the breakdown of the building process discussion and how we graduate or grow as pilots and deck builders. Thank y'all. Ive been playing since Ice Age and the point made helped me think a bit differantly and gave me things to think about so im sure this is gonna be very beneficial to newer players. Thank y'all. Keep up all the hard and excellant work! 🤘❤️🤘

Ive never played cedh but tinkering with Rowan, scion of war has inspired me and some of my pod to build subcedh decks. One factor that keeps me away from cedh is that I am a special snowflake who loves to brew new things. Seeing dragonstorm woke me up to some of the fun Rowan can get upto and is pretty much the reason i picked her up, but I always feel like i have to put my own spin on it. Deck creation and choice to me is a deep and personal artistic expression. With all that said i love watching cedh and learning about the highest levels of tech conceived.

Step 1 - Start with Gaddock Teeg as your commander Step 2 - Stax them out for the win! ❤❤❤

I got to play against Sam Black on his Rog and Thrasios list. That deck can generate mana and maximize Gaea's cradle like none other! The deck goes nuts with Candelabra and Minamo. Had to deal with Candelabra and Seedborn Muse on turn 3. That was a tough and weird game, but in the end it was a blast!

I 100% agree on the "why isn't this card in the list" but how does one find the reputable people who publish their decks to learn if it's not a deck with a huge representation etc :)
  • @Dubbios
Amazing episode! Thank you!!I really enjoy seeing you two together. Also, I feel mostly people talks about the hot decks at the time and I really think that maybe focus on the decks that are still relevant but not doing quite as well (tivit, Yuriko, atraxa, and even Kingman) shows the meta and the deck build from another perspective. Like why those decks are failing?

What decks are you currently working on? Should we do another deck building episode going deeper on it? Let me know down below!

My Kels cedh list is doing excellent. Thank you guys for your aupport. I was what peoples thoughts were on Selvalla Explorer? Ive been tinkering with semi elf tribal/soft stax, but im not really used to Selesnya.

I used to never play yawgmoth thran physician until orcish bowmasters was printed. My friends still laugh at it but it's a draw engine in the right scenario that kills problematic board pieces when needed

I'm working on a marchesa, dealer of death list. I think its good because it's fairly unassuming but it sees a lot of cards. One other card I think could be good is Fear, Fire, Foes. Because damage can't be prevented is good against one ring protection, it's a removable spell when it's not getting around one ring, and it's low mana value on the ad naus curve

I cut heat shimmer for molten duplication in etali

I had a Thrasios tymna and a Thrasios/vial smasher cedh but I found 90% of the times people would look at the commanders then have 3 against 1 for most of my games any recomdations on maybe not as powerful commanders but keeping the same colors ?
