  • Driving road rules and not passing blind because you can't be bothered to slow down might be a better option. Fixing a road doesn't fix drivers who don't/won't pay attention.

Until you can fix stupid, this will keep happening with or without road improvements.

She started off the video by saying We are learning new details about what caused a tragic accident, but the video never gave any of those new details about what caused the accident.

In Texas right now, biggest cause of problems on our roads is an almost total lack of law enforcement. I recently drove up IH35 from San Antonio to Dallas, tried to maintain speed limits, encountered heavy traffic (especially 18-wheelers) and several big construction zones ... took well over 6 hours when it should have been a little over 4. Witnessed every single traffic law being broken and never saw even ONE (!) law enforcement vehicle, much less a single violator pulled over ... at least I didn't witness any fatal accidents.

The problem isn't the road. The problem isn't the cars. The problem is the smartphone. How much more of this do we have to endure before the adults in the room put down their phones once and for all?

No reason for a wreck, period. Unless you have mechanical failure, a medical emergency, or an animal slams into your car....you should immediately be charged and held accountable. Slaps on the wrists aren't working. Smfh

You can widen the road as wide as you want. It will still be crashes. The road ain't the problem.

I've seen this time and time again - a bad accident happens somewhere because of driver error so they spend millions of $ to redo the road! I'll agree that in some cases it was the design of the road that contributed to an accident, but not in this case.
  • My condolences to everyone . May they rest in peace ,God bless them . We just had a similar death a family in Alberta somehow drove onto a frozen lake that wasn't frozen dnough to carry weight of SUV famy perish .

Major roads without medians shouldn't be a thing in texas unless these are in rural remote areas.

Will one of the 3 alive be charged for the crash??
  • Yes, that road is very unsafe. It is too narrow to accommodate simultaneous driving and cellphone use.
