Here's a simple trick to never run out of Enhancement Cores - Destiny 2

Go to the moon, find a chest with runes, use a finest matterweave, shoot the wrong rune, knight spawns, kill it, pick up enhancement core, repeat. It’s pretty fast and they’re easy to kill, for those who want to use their finest matterweaves

Now my issue is I need a big supply of enhancement prisms LOL

I'm going to point out the obvious flaw in this plan: this is exclusively for high end players. And by high end I mean players who can run dungeons, master difficulty activities, and raids with their clans or viewers daily. This is not for the average player. For us normal folk who have a hard time getting materials and go solo: your best bet is to run Nightfall activities with the prism mod on your ghost and optimize your build for that specific week. IMO, have a good Arc and Void heavy weapon (GL OR MG) and focus your energy on a good Void or Solar smg/scout, with your primary as a pulse. This way you have multiple options and can still be effective throughout the encounters. You don't have to run your ser up this way, but if your like me than you know to never trust matching teams to do the objective and you will often have to do them yourself.

Did anyone else notice that in total this makes you spend a theoretical 13 cores to get 6 back? 1 prism is equivalent to 10 cores. Bungie should just make us be able to dismantle the prisms for the 10 cores.

Also, another trick, is to farm cores using the matterweave. (I’m going to try and explain this the best I can, but I think there are multiple YouTube clips about this strat, so if I confuse you, don’t panic.) >Go to Sorrow’s Harbour on the Moon. >Go to the main entrance to the Scarlet Keep/the area for the final part of Altars of Sorrow. >Go to the right side of the platform and jump down, and go through the doorway that leads underneath the platform >Go to the back of the room, turn around and look up to find a Hive rune piece. >Consume matterweave. >Shoot the rune >Kill the knight that spawns and repeat until Enhancement core drops. >Consume another Matterweave. >Rinse and repeat. Pretty easy strat, the matterweave will cause the Knight to drop a core almost everytime, to the point where you’ll be left waiting for the matterweave cool-down.

if you have insane amounts of Finest Matterweaves, go to the moon and find the chests with the symbols shot the wrong symbol and a yellow bar knight will spawn repeat until your FM are gone.

Now all we need is a legendary shard farm

Finest Matterweave should be a toggleable consumable. Toggle it on, it automatically consumes them to drop enhancement cores on killing powerful enemies, with a 15 second cooldown. This way, it's the exact same as it is currently, except you don't have to go into your inventory every 10 seconds in certain content.

Nice and enhancement shards are handed out like candy. Might farm me up some cores with this on seasonal engram armor. Ty m8
