  • This is a fantastic subject as always and I can't think of another channel that where I learn something useful every time!

Currently using Burn Proof Gear, they hold up great as long as you put them on correctly and cinch them down so they don't fly off. Got to try a Liberty Defense at some point but almost $400 for a cover to match one of my suppressors is a lot.

The Liberty Covers/Attenuator are the best ive ever seen or used. Expensive but good luck melting it reduces mirage and it hides thermal under NVGs
  • Burn Proof Gear Hank has been the best for me other than their supressor cover. After a handfull of mags, trying to take off suppressor isn't happening haha cover just spins, no matter how tight I have it.
  • Great video bro. For precision rifles this video is amazing. Too many people buy them for semi-auto's to look cool but don't realize they are trapping heat, making it louder and they wear out on semi applications. For precision shooting this is the best suppressor cover wrap up you'll get (no pun intended.)
  • Man. I’ve been keeping an eye here and there the past few months on a good cover…(been on the fence about a libertys defense because man 350?!) but I’m happy a recent video has been posted. This was very insightful! Thank you!

  • Your amount of knowledge never ceases to impress! Good video Ray, thanks for sharing.
  • I use to work for manta defense as their mil sales guy (for a short time). If you cut out the “manta defense” logos on the covers it can be used for higher rates of FA. The reason it’s limited to 100 rnds is because of reversion. The can cover tries to revert back to a liquid state when there isn’t enough air flowing through the cover. Cutting out the logos creates a higher air flow and smothers the option for a fire to start.
  • Another great video Ray. Best fail for me was a Barrett QD can on my 107a1 with the factory mirage cover. It slid down over the brake gills on the can and got roasted. 😂

Thank You Sir! This is timely information from experience! 👍🇺🇲
  • Love my covers by Elite Iron. All my toys in New Zealand (the ones we are still allowed to have) have cans(easily available). Great video, thanks for showing other options.
  • I've been debating about getting a cover for the Area 419 Maverick. Thanks for the informative video.

I run a TAB Gear SASR on my SF MINI 2 556 and have been very happy with its performance. Not made for hard use, but rated up to 1800°. Made to order, at a good price point. Those Liberty’s Defense look incredible..

Thanks for info! For my AR, I’ll likely get the mod tac. For bolt gun, since barrel is far away from rail, would go liberties defense.
  • Great professional information as usual Ray. I hope you are doing well.
  • You gotta be kidding me this is very odd timing I was looking for a cover today for a new suppressor that I just bought and now here you are putting out a video wow sometimes I wonder about things anyway thanks for the video Ray
  • @GuacIsExtra99
I literally have “best suppressor cover 2024” in my web browser being right now. Timing of this is perfect

My first purchase of a cover was from Liberty’s Defense because of a comment Ray made in a prior post 4-5 months ago. The custom cover from Liberty’s Defense is for a 10.5” CGS Hekate (.338 LM) and is everything Ray says it is. I highly recommend this product!
