Torch the tungsten to warm it up, so the bismuth doesn't just cool down instantly when it touches
-
You earned a genuine belly laugh with “I don’t know why people always tell me to do this, it’s not fun.”
-
I think it’d be cool if they made a hammer (or something like it) with a bunch of big exposed bismuth crystals. It’d look like a cool video game item.
-
This thing is like a high damage, low durability fantasy weapon.
-
I mean on the bright side, you managed to set the record for worst casting ever done! Congratulations 🎊
-
Boss: "What are you guys doing today?" The Guys: "None of your Bismuth."
-
That's pretty much the worst casting I've ever seen. It was awesome! Thank you!

In my construction class in high school, our teacher kept a record on the board for most strikes to drive a nail into a 2x4. 160. Was the record. Took the poor souls a while before they realized they were nailing directly into a bolt. It's a class for a reason, I guess.

I can't lie, I'm absolutely blown away that your boss man has continued to allow all of you guys to use his shop, as well as his tools and water jets, his materials, Etc, for this long. I can only imagine what his first thoughts were after hiring Dan and Mitchell, then seeing all the shenanigans and bs they were getting themselves into on YouTube in his facility and with his equipment. 😂😂 I have to imagine that there is a family link, that they are relatives, or something like that. I don't believe that a boss who had hired them and subsequently noticed that they were doing these things, would allow them to stay for very long. Of course, if he's getting a cut of all of the YouTube earnings, then I could imagine him being okay with all of it. LOL. I also noticed that in the beginning a lot of their videos were being filmed at night, I'm guessing after the shop head shut down for regular business and they wouldn't be in anybody's way. Of course now, we can see they are doing it all during regular business hours. I imagine they get a lot of visitors as well, wanting to check out everything and see the water jets in person as well as the official quality testing tongue. 😂

So did ya'll buy the channel or take it over in some way? Just curious because Dan and Mitch now just seem to be making guest appearances every once in a while and i've not been able to find anything on why. Ya'll are awesome but it's just not the same :|

Bismuth is absolutely beautiful. Never saw it before. Still confused how this crystal is also metal

You guys should get some Petrabond. It's perfect for casting AND for playing around with!!!
-
You should definitely switch to greensand casting, and make some split molds. I'd also see about making a backyard foundry instead of using a pot and bench burner - it'll be faster, easier to clean, and safer too
-
Ok major improvements here but still missing the "weird uncle " that is Mitchel. But waterjetting the hammer and doing wierd shop things is what this channel is about!
-
something about Dan doesn't seem quite the same
-
What a messy job. Much better off using ready made casting sand. You get an "A" for all your hard work. :-)
-
Anyone know what happened to the main guys?
-
Hey what happened to Mitchell and Dan?
-
"This is gonna explode on me. I'm gonna lose an eye." continues

Really nice to see Dan. His new haircut looks nice!
