They is a couple car review of the all-new 2021 Ford Bronco Sport SUV. The Ford Bronco Sport is a compact utility based on the same platform as the Ford Escape but with a more rigged look, attitude and more capability. The top Badlands Trim has a 2L Ecoboost engine with an 8 speed automatic transmission, 245 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. It is only available o the top trim. All other trims come with a 1.5L Ecoboost engine with an 8 speed automatic transmission, 181 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque. All trims are AWD. The Badlands has a lifted suspension and upgraded dampers for tackling rugged terrain. The Escape and the Bronco Sport share their drivetrains right down to their infotainment system.Towing capacity for the Bronco is about 2,200 pounds but the Escape is at 3,500. The difference probably comes down to the AWD systems on both. The Escape has a simpler design where as the Bronco is more complex with the advanced 4.4 system with a twin clutch rear drive unit. Bronco buyers are more focused on off road capability than the Escape buyer. They both get a set of drive modes but they are very different. The normal and sport that you see in the Escape transforms into a terrain management system in the Bronco. Washable rubber flooring, easy to clean cloth seats; and even a built in bottle opener on the tailgate. I feel this a family friendly vehicle especially with small children. The bronco is a little shorter than the Escape

I bought the Big Bend 1.5 liter Bronco Sport. So far I am not disappointed with the power or performance of this motor. I am also averaging 29.5 mpg which definitely helps my wallet. I have already put over 3000 miles on my little Bronco and it is an absolute pleasure to drive. It's roomy, stylish, loaded with features and turns a lot of heads. I traded my 2018 Ford Escape Sport edition for this little Bronco and haven't looked back. I wanted the big Bronco but this was much more in my price range. I guess time will tell if I made a wise choice but so far I am very happy.
  • This seems like a really good successor to the first gen escapes 2001-2007. I think after 2007 they went the wrong way with the escape styling but this really brings back everything they missed. I'd love to upgrade my 2005 escape to a bronco sport someday for hatchback camping trips.

They should offer it in some retro colour combinations... white roof, sage green and white steelies! Great review Zach and Andrea! You two are hilarious. Enjoying the new format.

For those who watch from abroad, these two, Andrea and Zack, they are what is a typical Canadian family is. Very nice family and down to earth. Good honest reviews, and not being tipped by the manufacturers. Hope this ford, does well. Smart manufacturing is what Canadians like. Cheers from MTL.

Wow, what a great review, I enjoyed it thoroughly, I laughed a lot, you guys are super entertaining and you get all the information out. What an easy review to watch. Andrea you are absolutely stunning! I just love everything you do from Instagram to YouTube, you are killing it out there.

Great review. I really liked the night view, haven’t seen other reviewers do that. I am also color blind and once bought a car after a daytime test drive only to find out when driving at night that the gauges lite up red on black, which was terrible for my type of colorblindness. Very helpful.

When I originally watched this video you both got me excited about this small wonder. As I looked into my Sport and drove the 2.0l engine, I bought one last February. I’ve 16,000 miles on it and many of those on dirt roads that border on scary (I’m 69 years old)! So far mileage is better than listed (26/30)! The interior does clean easily and drives nicely in snow (wish we had some to play in right now. I’ve not had any issues with what I think is a real fun, comfortable and sporty.
Anyway, thank you for your thoughts and advice.

Great review, it’s always good to see you two “ham it up.” The Bronco Sport Badlands does look like the one that will be the desired model, but the price is a bit steep at $45,000 for a compact crossover.
  • @dougahray732
This is basically the newest version of the Bronco II from back in the day. I loved that lil truck. It would go anywhere. If the the 2.9 liter engine wouldn’t blow up.
  • Finally people who understand what they are re reviewing! I see a lot of people comparing this to other subcompacts in terms of ride and handling. This really only competes with the Jeep products and Subaru buts that about it. Great Review!

Great review, I am 68 years old and bought my Bronco Badlands on 1/1/2021. The more I drive it the more Love It.... Thanks, Ford....
  • @richards1191
We bought a 2021 bronco sport base for just under 29,000. Interior room is great. I stand at 6 foot 10 inches and I weigh in at 310 lbs and I can sit in both the front and back seats with comfort. Easy to get in and out of both front and rear seats. It is very hard for a guy my size to find a vehicle I can get in and out of easy as well as comfortable.
  • I may say you both did an excellent review of the Bronco Badlands enough to get me excited to order one
