Lyrics:

I went to a party last Saturday night
I didn't get laid, I got in a fight,
Uh, huh
It ain't no big thing
Late for my job and the traffic was bad
Had to borrow ten bucks from my old man,
Uh, huh
It ain't no big thing
I went to a party last Saturday night
I told you that story, I'd be alright
Uh, huh
It ain't no big thing
But I know what I like
I know I like dancin' with you
And I know what you like
I know you like dancin' with me
Yeah, yeah
Kiss me once
Kiss me twice
C'mon pretty baby, kiss me deadly

  • Never in my life will I have enough gratefulness to God for letting me be born in 73 and growing up in the 80s. The younger generations will never get what we had. It was a magical time and we may be the luckiest generation ever.

Big hair, bad attitude, and LOUD MUSIC! '80s FOREVER!

Arguably the best opening lyric of any song ever- "Went to a party last Saturday night. I didn't get laid, I got in a fight." Classic rock n roll.🤟

I was 23 years old in 1988, and this song and video blew our minds!! I felt so alive watching Lita Ford in this performance. It is pure rock glory!! I still feel my heart pounding watching it.

Lita, Cherie and Joan literally paved the way for Female Rockers. They made 80s Pop Rock the Blueprint of the Pop music to come for the whole Future. This is the type of music Young Girls deserve to be hearing in this Generation, uplifting Powerful Music made by a Serious Rockstar!

She is a knock out even at a young 63. Aged well as fine wine.
  • Just an icon of 80’s Rock. I’m telling ya who is prettier than Lita in this Video?
  • Miss the 80s. Raw, pure, real. Simply good songwriting with real instruments by real musicians.
  • Has anyone else noticed how naturally pretty these women were. No plastic surgery, no botox, minimal makeup, just natural beauty.

Once upon a time, rock artists produced quality songs both lyrically and musically. It was a delight for the ears of every rock music lover. You could listen to it endlessly. It had a special impact for many. "Kiss Me Deadly"... released in 1988 and still popular in 2023...! The sixties, seventies, eighties... great times... or in other words heydays for rock music. Thank you Mick SMILEY and of course Lita FORD for this masterpiece. I still remember Lita from the late 1970s with the American female rock band "The Runaways"... Unforgettable...!

80s music 🎵 is still the best and will always be the best even 200 years from now

Lita is a great guitarist and was instrumental in crafting the Runaways sound. She deserves way more credit than she ever got!

This song is sooo aggressively 80's , you can't help but like it.
  • So, 1987 summer road trip to Houston, met Lita Ford in Tower Records (flashback for those who remember Tower Records, Lol)! She was the coolest when she signed my arm! She also signed the inside jacket of my CASSETTE tape! Another blast from the past drop. Lol Miss those times.
  • @synthwave7
Lita has such a strong voice. This is another great video production. That drummer is damn good.
  • @rubytuesday1345
This just epitomizes the 80s so well. Big hair, tight pants, loud guitar, ridiculously large drum risers, The Burbs, hot summer nights, Van Halen, ghetto blasters, just awesome times.
  • Dear sweet Lord God in heaven, please give me a time machine so I could go back to the ‘80s and live forever.Thankyou.Amen.
  • @LAlonely
I was 17 when this song dropped. It was such a standout compared to the other pop/rock/metal stuff. She should have been bigger in the mainstream.
  • @thehand1358
Thing is...Lita Ford is STILL just as pretty 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
