My sister and I have a running joke about ducks coming across my awareness; I tell her I think I will be put in charge of taking care of ducks in the next world.... rather than seeing the story as being about the duck being foolish, I see it as being about how focused he was on his journey and destination that he would go where he had to, no matter how it looked possible or not, and it apl worked out for him. That is how my family and I live, and want to live better, like Peter looking at Jesus and being able to walk on water (in contrast, the duck can walk on land). And just so much as we put our trust in the Lord, even so much shall we be supported as Alma said. The duck just did whatever he was needing to do and God takes care of His creations the same as us, and He knew that duck's story and purpose.
  • Watching from Tooele! Thank you Glenn! We appreciate each and everyone of your firesides!! You have helped us more than you know. I have some stories for you, but I need to get more details to be sure the information is correct. It's about my Grandfather in Germany. Tremendous faith and perseverance. He was incredible! Thank you, again for all you do every week! It means a lot! ❤

Hey Glenn, I am watching from Bluffdale Utah. Love your stories! The first story I heard of yours was on my great great grandfather, John Nicholson. And after that, I started listening to all your stories and love them. My other great great grandfather was in the Martin handcart company the Laird family. Love the history and appreciate all your hard work in sharing them.
