Huge metal head here. But, i listen to these, eyes closed, letting the sheer emotion and beauty wash over me. Classical is what made me a metal fan. But, the passion and expression of these arias are choking me up.

7:08 I remember it was in 2009 the opera was performed in paris and I bought 2 very expensive places for my husband an I. and I loved it so much that I came back later to see it again by myself, buying the cheaper place. it was just 5€. 5€ and you could hear such a beautiful music and watch a 3h opera performance. ah PARIS! such a blessed place!

Somehow the sad Arias (Handel, Donizetti, Puccini) are my favorites. Sadness is just such a universal feeling that everybody understands, no matter how old the music is.
