I am loving the use of the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise Thermal (M3T) to find the active wildlife in the area in the evening. To do this, I have my Part 107 Certification, the drone I am using has strobe lights that can be seen 3 miles away, I am following local laws, I am flying high enough that I am not harrassing animals, I am not part of any hunting activities, and I have requested and received permission to fly in this class D airspace in accordance with Title 14 CFR Part 107.41. As I took off, I immediately heard coyotes somewhat close across route 59. After lowering the altitude so I was in compliance with the restricted altitude due to the location within the airspace, I flew across the road and immediately spotted three coyotes playing. A fourth one joins them at some point. Love seeing their usual paths through the wetland.

My friend is a wild life specialist and his main expertise is the nocturnal activities of creatures. With tech like these, he can easily gather data because it used to be people would actually camp out in the dark and wait to see if an animal pops up and observe them. As you can tell this can be dangerous when it comes to lions and, well, coyotes so this drone is just helping him so much!

Fantastic Is there no RGB recording because there was not enough light?
