  • This was a proudest day of my life. I never felt so wonderful ever again. I was 17 years old and 3 weeks. I went to boot camp I thought it knew everything I didn't know anything. I can't believe I passed and graduated. So many things that I was able to overcome. My dad showed up we had no communication with the outside world. No phone calls. we got letters that's it. We were never allowed to call home. I never forget it and I'll always cherish that memory. I was so proud and I was in the best shit in my life and I felt wonderful. 🇺🇲✝️🙏

A huge congratulations to all those brave men and women passing out (graduation) I remember mine in 1986 (British army) it's a special day and a proud day. It's great to see our brave cousins across the pond earning the right to be called marines. It's no easy feat. I once remember and celebrates British brigadier commenting on how fantastic the USMC were whilst working together in desert storm 1. Nothing but 100 percent admiration on how these marines conducted themselves. How they wanted to learn and how.much they showed an interest in the bigger picture. Brave men and women who can always be proud.

I saw a kid move from Jr. HS marching band, to championship HS marching band, to the Marine Corps. I bet the marching and the instrument playing was a piece of cake for him, when he got to boot camp. I hope he was able to audition for some of the music jobs in the USMC. Currently stationed in Japan.
