Wuben C3 Flashlight Kit Review!

Published 2020-06-22
Here is the all new/brand new Wuben C3 flashlight kit. This runs on the included 18650. Uses a USB Type C charging system for quicker charge times. This sport the OSRAM P9 LED with special optics for illumination. The beam is more of flood but does have some throw. This is compact enough for EDC or rugged enough for tactical use as well. I just got mine today, this review made me pull the trigger on it, in deed a great edc 18650 flashlight, really compact and stylish, just a few millimiters longer than a convoy s2+, but with built in charger, and i loved the battery indicator too!! Amazing value on this one

Hey Charles love the vid, it was super informative! Can't wait to get this for my birthday :) One thing though about this video is that i recommend you put a flash warning before testing the strobe feature for future flashlight videos. Doesn't directly effect me, but just want to look out for other viewers. Keep up the great work!
  • Always great reviews here . I bought this Wuben C3 due to this video . It came in yesterday afternoon from Amazon . I am very pleased with the quality and performance of this unit .This is a superior quality product . Took it out last night to my local Dark country wilderness area along with my "comparable type models " Lumintop , Sofirn , and Thrunite TC15 . This Wuben C3 performs exceptionally well up against the others . I like it alot . Your video tells the truth very well . I will say that I am now a proud new owner of this very fine top quality Wuben product . Highly satisfied . Again thank you for the most excellent video reviews . Very much appreciated . Very well done videos every time , Sir Charles !

Hi Charles! Always loved your reviews. Got a Wuben C3 because of this review. Any recommendations for an EDC twice powerful as Wuben C3 but still very affordable?

just recieve my wuben c3 yesterday and try it, works very well and now just bring always on my bag. 🙂

Agree with your review. Very good light at this price point. Good output at all levels. For EDC use its compelling.
  • I like the performarnce of the osram p9.. the combination of a good led and a well designed special optic or reflector, makes the difference.. I wish wuben stat to use 21700 batteries for better runtimes. Thanks for the review!

Thank you again sir. I've had mine for a week now. Perfect EDC light for 18650 size with tail switch. No momentary is fine for me in EDC use. Mode spacing is good, price is great too, then on mine it falls in its face in beam quality. On a smooth flat surface (especially light color) the beam hotspot is squarish, and outer ring in spill is kaleidoscopic like, kinda like 8 or more different squares on top of each with corners spaced equally apart. But in outdoor tasks it is unnoticeable, but bugs me. Will pick up another and see if it is the same.

My update is I like this very much for rough EDC, since I do not shine it on single color flat surfaces often, the wonky beam does not bother me as much anymore. Stays cooler then most of same size due to thicker body to dissipate the heat. Grest budget EDC that I do not mind beating up, just ordered a third one. Again, thank you sir. Perfect edc.

Hello Charles Bridgtec, I purchased this light from your review and I must say I am completely pleased with the light, good review. I am looking to add another battery to this light, would a 20a 18650 battery still charge if installed and charged within the light? Also, would it matter if the cell is protected, or unprotected, can the light still have the ability to charge the battery within the light? Thank you.
  • I was thinking about this light or he Sofirn SC31 Pro. Current pricing is the same, Sofirn may give extra lumens but the machining on Wuben is very beautiful!
  • @guyrankin6288
Trying to decide C3,L50 or Wowtac A1s Ur recommendation? Really respect ur thoughts and views on all these lights Great job Sir !!
  • @williamg.686
Looks like wuben is stepping up their game. It looks different and high quality with the machining. If osram is better than Cree then I will look for this one.
  • @jo3lo13
This reminds me the Sofirn Sc31B, nice review of course.
