Brilliant George, I salute your indefatigability over the last 27 years.
  • I lived through Thatchers turmoil and George is exactly right. She was evil and I will never forget what she did.

If you go to certain parts of England in the north and mentioned the name Margaret Thatcher you would be lucky to escape alive.
  • I'll never forget that image of Thatcher walking arm in arm with murderous dictator Pinochet. It should have been cast in bronze.
  • @gregprice103
Thatcher was a strange person. She was a champion of Pinochet and called him a friend, a man who’s presided over a regime that tortured and killed thousands of innocents in his own country whilst thatcher in the same breath would denounce Nelson Mandela branding him a terrorist, even when he became president she refused to acknowledge him??. That shows that intelligence and a total lack of morality can coexist in the character of one person.

Thank God for George Galloway. We need more like him in the world,a true justice warrior. He is truly a hero (my hero)speaking the truth clearly through the mire of lies.

People are still suffering from the effects of Thatchers policies in 2023 and my hatred of her has not decreased even though she's now worm food, Rest in peace our British manufacturing industry and the caring compassionate country we once knew before she became PM,
  • @MrMollypockets
Like or loath Thatcher, Galloway is 100% factually correct.
  • He's right' I was there! Her vileness should never be forgotten.

George i have so many problems with you over thebyears...but this country needs politicians like you. Your analysis of Thatcher years is bang on. I saw young mothers shedding tears when Killoch closed and not one tear from Thatcher, as you said the only tear she shed was for herself. Ayrshire was decimated in 1986 all those villages all those communities gone.

I spoke to two coppers who worked on the miners strike they thought it was great. They made a bucket full of overtime and even laughed at being able to buy a miners TV for a few quid as he was desperate for some money to feed his family. I'm no Galloway fan but when he speaks about Thatcher he is right.
  • @spex357
My hatred of Thatcher hasn't dimmed either. Here we are after years of her ideals and doesn't it look fantastic, not.
  • @Jbentley9999
I emigrated to America in 1991 though I believe that certain decisions made economically to privatize certain industries was the wrong thing to do. The result has been the decimation of those industries by financiers who have no loyalty to Britain.
  • Well said George Galloway. If there was any true justice in this world then you would be foreign secretary right now.
