The guy connecting after 30 minutes of matchmaking only to leave was too real.
-
The visual depiction of "widening the search" absolutely killed me
-
"Your offline mode SUCKS!" "Haha yeah it really does. That's on purpose." Ooof I felt that one.
-
I love when you can tell that Ryan made a video because of something that he experienced recently 😂
-
I'm profusely satisfied with the amount of "Hi there, hello!"'s in this episode. 😌
-
My favorite is "You have to log in to your Activision/Ubisoft/EA account to play this offline single player game", then spend 20 minutes trying to remember which email you used, resetting your password, signing in, accepting 30 pages of T&Cs, start the game, 5 minutes of accessibility options, adjust your screen brightness, set sound settings... kids are hungry now its time to make dinner.
-
Game: "and... download complete" Ryan: "thank God, now can I play?" Game: "sure no problem, just got to do a quick update"
-
Ryan should play more single-player games.

You forgot the fact that after the update gets downloaded it also has to install the update, causing the 3h 21m to become 4h 32m without warning you. Plus the fact that sometimes there's a warning box between the download and the installation that you have to click on, so when you start the download and leave for 5h, when you come back you click on that and there's still another hour of waiting.
-
As a casual gamer myself... this is SO on point! lol
-
Love how the “updates” look like they’re relieving themselves!
-
this is why the retro gaming scene is amazing. no updates, no wait times, no bloat or micro transactions. Just pop in the cartridge or disk and away you go!
-
That bit with finding a player in a year old online game only for the player to suddenly leave is too accurate.
-
playing an old game you loved but forgetting how to be good at it is a weird feeling to coming back to a game
-
“How relatable do you want this to be?” Ryan George: “Yes”
-
"There's a new Ryan George" has become a regularly used phrase in my family whenever he uploads a new video, that's how much we love his sense of humor lol
-
Possibly the most painfully accurate video Ryan has ever made.
-
"Offline mode sucks. That's on purpose." 100% accurate for so many games. This is why I play single player games. Also why whenever I get a new game I always, always, always put that puppy in and start it up so it can get this updating done while I'm eating dinner, mowing the lawn, showering, reading an entire book, etc.

I know the pain he is going through. The updates can take hours.
