  • My buddy spent a ton of money to meet Kiss and had an old vintage t shirt he wanted signed. He finally meets Gene and the first thing Gene said to him is “you couldn’t buy one of our new shirts?”…lol!!! I would have been disappointed with another reaction.

KISS and the Rolling Stones are probably the biggest bands of all time. You could go out and find some native boy living in a mud hut in the middle of the African desert , and if you showed him a picture of KISS he would know who they are.
  • When other bands write catchy songs about your folks rolling doobies and listening to your K.I.S.S. records. It's something that I can relate to. Cause it happened to me. People who claim they're too hip for KISS, are a drag. Some of my proudest moments as a young 45rpm record DJ in the back yard during the 70's. Was when I'd bust out my little portable record player and case of 45rpm records. I really enjoyed subjecting everyone to my "punk" music, as it was basically considered back then. You can bet every K.I.S.S. 45 I had, was played over and over, and over again. Until it wouldn't play no more! I'd grind the needles down to powder in mere days! Then I'd be on the hunt to swipe one from somewhere. My music was paramount to my existence!

I ran into Gene at Tao in NYC in the 90's he was so cool and we spoke and thats all I can say. Gene you are a class act Love you Gene Love you Paul

I've been a fan of Kiss since I was 8 years old

Simmons & Stanley waltzed into that Snyder interview, expecting to be the focal point, Snyder introduced Simmons as the “Bass” player, as in large-mouth, deep sea, or Chilean… causing Ace’s replay as the “trout” player. This “documentary” dubbed Synder’s voice, as if he was saying the instrument, not the fish…Proving what deceptive megalomaniacs Simmons & Stanley are. The band died in ‘77, imho…
  • Kiss is the Rocky Balboa of rock and roll they made adversity of their friend

I was a big fan of KISS from 1976-78, when I was in 4th-6th grades. I think it worried my mother. It makes me sad to remember it. In retrospect, I think the music was a bad influence. I guess it's nice for them that they made some money off of me, as that seems to have been their primary motivation.
  • @NoNotMe0000
I was 13 the first time I saw KISS in 1976. So I'm a fan from wayback. Love all the live video and stuff you can see from days of old. Seen endless documentaries, most good, some not. But, I mean really? Another KISS this is how we started doc?🙄 I feel like I've finally had enough of KISS after some 48 yrs. 2:13:38 video is just to much. I love you KISS, but I just can't.

Say what you want to about KiSS and Gene. You can't deny the longevity and success! At one time they did it better than anyone. You can't match a KISS show!
  • @txterbug
I’m 32 and I literally had no idea that KISS actually went like a full decade out of costume and were at their actual prime too. Like wtf???
  • Thank the Starz, I got to see them in the 70's. The magic was the 4 of them. I thank the 4, Starz.
