I feel like the OTHER easiest way is to just crouch for most of the game and use the junpscares to your advantage

Thank you so much. I played the game and after I beat it I looked at the achievements I needed and I needed this one so I spent 3-4 hours playing the game again without hiding spots and it didn't give me the achievement.

Tbh i got it during the release patch of the game on ps4, and the only tip i can give to those struggling is Learn the way the AI and pathfinding works. They're all very easy to avoid if you run out of sight of them, and often times just aren't a threat because you can run past them.

For me, hiding spots are just there, I just use them whenever I replay the Daycare escape sequence whenever I feel like it. (Using the Debug Menu + Unload the map on Flying Mode)

This is the easiest way unless you play on the launch/v1 version of the game. On v1, you can do the oob giltch stuff to beat the game in less than 5 min. If you don't hide while doing it, you will get this achievement.

On the Xbox version the first aid station cutscene doesn't get counted as a hiding spot. Idk if it's the same for other platforms though, but I figured I'd say that anyway because the Xbox version is the most patched one.

Incredible!! PS5 working just fine, 9th January 2024! There is some kind of blocking on top of the rails but you can jump around/over it quite easily.
