Week in my life on a Scottish Island: Gardening and a trip to Raasay Distillery

This week I’m cracking on getting started turning our mud swamp into a whimsical and magical garden. We've spent the last few year working on the iteriors of our cosy two bedroom cottage, so now it's time to tackle the outside.
I also head for a gifted/pr stay at the Isle of Raasay distillery. I’ve taken my followers on Instagram and Tiktok along here many times, so it was very cool to be invited for an overnight stay and not to need to go very far for a holiday.

Hello ☺. You could have heaped the grass sods (turf) and stones into a mound, tucked away somewhere, to create a wildlife mound and habitat for frogs, newts etc. Then sprinkle with wid flower seeds.
