  • Bro I just started using a climber this year that my hunting buddy gave me, the worst part this year was on a cold day once I got up to where I wanted to be I dropped my glove. Bro I wasn’t about to go back down for a glove. Lmfao it was brutal! Lol

His voice like ”yea dude hook it, climb we up here radical uhhhhhh " Every comment I read Im reading in his voice 🤣🤣 please leave my head
  • New to the climber world and put it to use this hunting season. youtube.com/post/UgkxlQ7TDIrnnSXXbRgFFaxqwullRJJIu… I felt safe while climbing up and down a tree. It did take some time getting used to climbing and descending the tree. Once I figured it out I was comfortable going in climbing a tree knowing I was going to be up a tree quickly and most importantly quite not scaring every deer out of my area. I am 6’2” and 240 lbs, fit and comfort were great. I bow hunt and found no issues hunting from it. It is a little bulky to carry in and out of the woods vs some of the smaller open front climbers but I thought it was worth the bulk/weight due to ease of climbing (using the rail to sit on) and comfort for long sits.

I love this guy. Every sentence ends with an upward inflection sounds so Californian. Awesome fun to watch
  • That's pretty cool. I've always used a ladder stand. So much easier with a climber for sure 👍 I've got some tree's up at the cabin I want to cut some limbs off and I could use that just to get up the tree to cut them. Awesome 👌
  • Thanks for the video. I have never used one of those! Looks simple enough.

I have the same tree stand , they're awesome! I've been using mine for the past 8 years and still holding up, no cracks or breaks in it!

I grew up hunting as a kid and stopped when I was 12 or 13. I have always loved hunting and fishing but after my dad left I didn’t have anyone to hunt with. I used a climber one time as a kid but it was set up for me I never knew how to set them up. Now just this year at 39 years old I decided I had to get back into hunting I don’t need to have anyone to go with I can go by myself. But now that I waited so long to get back into it I am relearning everything and learning a lot of things I never learned along the way. I never was able to harvest a deer. The only time I had one come out on me while I was hunting was the time I used the climber I was 10 or 11 at the time and I thought it was so awesome that I could just climb a tree like that so I climbed like 35 feet up a big pine tree. When the deer came out I was too scared to shoot because I was so high up and there wasn’t harnesses back then I don’t think, if there was I definitely wasn’t wearing one. But I was afraid the recoil of the 12 ga was gonna make me fall out of the tree lol. I ended up passing up the only chance I ever had to land one. Hopefully I can get one in January into the beginning of Feb season 2024. I will be so stoked . I’ve been out about 4 times this year for doe and the 6 day buck but no luck because I still suck. I’ve been using a blind because I don’t have a climber but I’m gonna get one for January. Hopefully the good lord blesses me with a big buck. Thank you for your video. I am very grateful for people like you that share information like this on YouTube for people like me to learn

I am not sure if you will see this but something I just did with my summit climber today is take the back rest of the seat and feed it through the bottom platform and clip it down. It offers a pretty nice cushion for your back if you have long walks!
  • @koopasayer5999
great tutorial i used my summit for the first time this year and some hard oak trees i find were a little slippery to bite in. haha
  • Awesome video!! I know you mentioned it but just a personal choice but I never use my Summit unless I have the tether attached between top and bottom pieces. Not good to be hanging from tree and bottom piece at bottom of the tree. Only takes a few seconds to attach them. Thank you for great video! God bless you sir!
  • Great tutorial for those who have never seen a climber. I've been using one for 30 years. Mine is an API.
  • Update definitely follow these tips I rushed up a tree without checking my teeth when I was wild boar hunting and had an accident. I ended up a few miles into the woods dangling from my harness. You should always use one and don’t end up like me. I stayed over 24 hours dangling before a local farmer found me. I thought I was coyote bait. Good thing I was able to forage some bugs on the tree to stay alive. I felt like an off brand bear gryls tbh. These are great tips Dylan. I won’t be rushing my climbs anymore!
  • Awesome video bro. Never used one but need one when I get back to bow hunting.
  • @robertl.5753
U also need to tie top and bottom platforms together. If ur bottom platform leaves u and slides down the tree u screwed. I've used climber for 25 yrs ApI grandslam. Love it.
  • @tcbink
Had one of these when I lived on the Wabash river. I got some of my best naps in that thing.
  • @joeyliny1
Great demo dude, my buddy just gave me a stand he wasn't using, and your video explained it so easy. Thanks !
