  • I loves this video! I've watched so many videos of how to teach my kids Spanish as a Latina mother. I speak perfect Spanish but my kids don't want to learn. This really motivated me to keep trying. Thank you !

Soy mama y la maestra de mis cinco hijos. No soy hablante de español, pero quiero que mi familia aprenda el idioma, la cultura mexicana, etc. conmigo. Gracias por su video, querida 💕
  • @ajgehlhausen
This makes TOTAL sense! Just like in English, we spend the younger years teaching sounds / phonics, then slowly move into building words with those sounds. Learning vocabulary is important, but only after understanding the sounds & how they build on each other to create those words. Thanks for your knowledge on this!

Soy una madre Latina con dos niñas, casada con un Américano. No uso mi español muy a menudo pero quiero que mis niñas aprendan Español. Gracias por compartir tu experiencia.
  • Thank you. As a Spanish native speaker I know Spanish...but with my situation, I learned English in Kindergarten at age 6. My English is now better than Spanish, however I am fluent in speech and I can fully understand it....and I read it slowly. But when it comes to teaching it to my daughter there are some foundational things that I don't know how to explain. I have been searching for a good Spanish curriculum and I haven't been impressed. Thank you for sharing your resources and method. I am also Puerto Rican and it is important that I teach my daughter (she's motivated to learn).
  • You explain everything very sweet , You are a blessing to many , and thank you for your videos , God bless you ! in Jesus name !

This information right here!! 🤌🏼 Thank you; I’m Puerto Rican 3rd gen and it has been hard to teach the language even though I can speak fluently. All resources have been different accents makes it hard to keep the culture. I have done basics with them but as you said they forget 😅. I’m hopeful with doing the actual vowels and phonics first this will help our up coming school year.
  • Great video…I am a kindergarten teacher and your principal teaching method is how I teach my students to read ✨ Through my own Spanish learning journey I began teaching myself in the same manner, along with a lot of listening videos of various Spanish speakers while also adding vocabulary. Love 💕 your content ✨
  • Gracias!! Estoy intentando que mi novio aprenda español y este video es de mucha ayuda saludos de Argentina ❤
  • Would you share a link to this resource? Thank you so much for this perspective. So helpful!
  • Excellent value in this video. Thank you! Constructive feedback: you only need one intro to your video 😊
  • @Veeluvstocook
Hi, I do not find the vowel flash card and the days of the week links in the description.
  • @Sol-Amar

Thank you for this content. Te pregunto: I raised my son in Mexico for 3 years when he was a toddler up until he was 5 and half. Then went through a separation and my ex moved him back to the US where he basically lost all of his Spanish. How do I get him back into it?
  • @Chris-ke4ue
Thank you for your detailed guide. My son will be starting second grade in a new state where Spanish is being taught, starting in kindergarten. We don’t speak Spanish at home and my son never learned it at school. I ordered a highly rated book from Amazon and was so overwhelmed when I received it. It is just exercise pages for children. I was so discouraged that I would not be able to help him before starting school in Autumn. Your video has encouraged me to at least try, and to start from the real beginning (and not from vocabulary!). Thank you!

I want to teach kids and my kids Spanish. What books can I use? Amazon doesn't have it the book..to learn the sounds..the basics
