Brakenfur was heartbroken at the death of Snowkit, he had such hope for the young Tom. moons later SwiftStrike and BrightHeart have their first litter, a single white tom. Brakenfur can barely hold back tears as the kit's eyes open to reveal the same striking blue color that once shone with Snowkit.

At two moons the young Tom comes up to Brakenfur with a hawk's feather, standing tall on a rock to show it off to the senior warrior. Brakenfur never missed Snowkit more... but finds solace knowing he'll keep this kit alive. he promises that to the stars.
