I love how, even with the more serious and "realistic" looking visuals, the Glukkons still have their comedic way of walking.

I love how the developers took the time to write full articles on the newspapers, instead of just some gibberish and random letters broken up.

Honestly, I can't tell what's more terrifying. A Glukkon smiling, or a Glukkon being pissed off

I like how they stayed true to Abe's character. Even in his body language and movements - he's still Abe.

It's Ironic that Molluck, the one guy who would love to see Abe dead, unintentionally help save him in the end of the good ending.

I’m actually glad Molluck and his Slig captain made it out alive in the good ending. Molluck is a good antagonist, I enjoy his cigar chomping, neck cracking armless self.

I love the Sligs all banding together at the end, even if Mullock might still mistreat them it's nice to see them get a little payback.

Abe is how you create a lovable and memorable character

Abe comforting the dying messenger was heartbreaking but also heart warming. The messenger thought he failed but succeeded and died in peace... somewhat

The world building and lore of this series is insanely powerful. You can tell this is more of a labor of love than just a job for profit. I'm just glad the developers get both things out of it.

So glad they kept most of the old voice actors.

New oddworld: careful, forensic character development through a complex building story where just the cutscenes are a full length movie of unfurling motives with suspense tactfully woven through the gameplay. Old oddworld: "HEY!! How are we doing on TEars!"
