You know, one thing I noticed in Naruto Shippuden last time I watched the Fourth Shinobi World War was how willing Yin Kurama was to work with Minato. Naruto spent years of his life just trying to get any form of control over Kurama, and he only managed to do so when he had gained the respect of every other Tailed Beast. Meanwhile, Minato and Yin Kurama were talking like they were old friends. I seem to recall Yin Kurama going so far as to state that it’s Yang half was the hardheaded half, though I could be wrong. My memory isn’t perfect. But one thing I do know is that Yin Kurama befriended Minato a lot faster than Yang Kurama did with Naruto, and I can’t help but wonder what it would have been like had Naruto been given Yin Kurama instead of Yang Kurama from the start. Would they have been friends from the start? How would that have changed things? Well, that’s what I’m looking to find out. So sit right back, we’re going to find out.

i absolutely love this naruto: is at a slight disadvantage yin kurama: here child, have chakra

Naruto: Struggles a little bit against Kakashi Kurama: Panics, sending him into Chakra Mode
  • Yin Kurama went so far as to reassure Minato that, despite the terrible decision he made, it was the best possible one that could’ve been made at that time (I/e sealing half of Kurama in Naruto and basically damning him as a Jinchūriki and leaving the least qualified people to raise his son)

I like how he says Minato "convinces" himself that Hiruzen will take care of Naruto at 6:03
  • Only flaw in this I see is that you think Naruto would be more sad about the death of Kurama. By the time the Baryon mode death occurred Naruto already regarded Kurama as a soul mate to himself. And their struggle probably brought them closer than just being close from the start did.
  • I love how Itachi was given the recognition that he needed. I feel happy knowing that his reputation was no longer tarnished and that he will forever be remembered as a true hero. Well, at least in this AU!
  • Fun fact: In the previous Naruto adaptation, Kurama was Naruto's father.
  • This made me wanna tear up, and miss Kurama that much more. I almost wish this is how it went
  • If you don't know the tailed beasts need to be sealed in order of ascending tails. The Akatsuki found this out the hard way when they almost broke the husk by sealing the tailed beasts out of order. This is why they went after gara at the beginning of shebuden and then hunted them in order of ascending tails
  • Damn, this one hit the feels real hard. This story line sounds so much better! So wholesome with one hell of a tear jerking ending.

If he had yin kurama he wouldn't be having insane regeneration and healing. When he had yang kurama, he was able to recover from injuries throughout shipuden thanks to yang release from yang kurama. Regenerating and healing jutsu consists as yang release.
  • THIS IS TOO HEARTWARMING😭 I defo need a spin off with something like this

I would agree having the light side of Kurama would definitely make things a whole lot more bearable and helpful during Naruto's Early Childhood which was definitely traumatizing for him since without support network he had to suffer his growth being stunted. But since he had an actual guide at least even from in his own head it definitely helps his intelligence and part of his personality to lighten a bit more and giving a better outcome somewhat to others around him.

It isn't Kurama's fault, it was Obito's fault.
  • I think we are forgetting the fact that yin Kurama had the memories of the other Kurama when minato came back from the dead so its entirely plausible that he went along to work with Minato because he had seen the bond shared by Naruto and his other half. I am not trying to decline the concept this video used but just that this might just not be the case.
