She could have just cheated without involving the rest of us 🙄

This enrages me. The psychological harm she caused to her children alone is vile. Add her damage to the Hispanic community and everyone who believed her and helped her. Ugh. I'm disgusted. Please keep us updated
  • As a Hispanic women myself this makes me so upset. Not only did she blatantly accuse two Hispanic women (which is one of the biggest community's who's kidnapping/missing cases often go without care or are delt wrongly) but she also harmed and stereotyped a whole community! I feel so horrible for her children and husband who had to go through that traumatic experience just because she wanted to go with another man. She brought everyone down with her just for her own selfishness
  • The fact that she pinned her “kidnapping” on Hispanic women is really harmful and offensive. She really gave in to the stereotypes by mentioning she “annoying Mexican music” and the food they fed her. 😕
  • She's not a supermom. No loving mother would traumatize her kids the way this woman did over and over again. Those poor babies
  • Applying for funds from the victim compensation board, knowing you’re not a victim, is a whole other level of evil
  • Kendall, This is my niece and none of this surprises me. Thank you, THANK you for delivering this case with such eloquence and respect.

I’m a health care professional and we really do try not to use words such as “crazy”. But honestly, there isn’t another word to describe this woman.
  • not only does this hurt victims but it also stokes unneeded fear of POC. It's exhausting.

she is horrible especially for framing hispanic women as perpetrators. the "annoying mexican" music to being fed "tortillas and rice" sounds so comical as to what she thinks hispanic women are really like. not to mention, hispanic women around the area where she went missing were continuously on edge. sherri is horrible
  • Knowing he’s divorcing her and trying to get full custody of the kids, makes it hard for me to believed he was involved in anyway. That was his endgame? He could’ve done that without the whole kidnap story. I just think she’s a special level of insane. He needs to get those kids as far away from her as he can as fast as possible.
  • The fact that someone could have been wrongfully arrested for kidnapping is crazy. She should be punished for wasting everyone's time. I feel bad for her husband as well. What a horrible woman.
  • @heykayrenee_
It’s even more upsetting knowing a woman not too far from where Sherri went missing truly did disappear but didn’t receive the same amount of coverage. 💔 her name is Stacey Smart.
  • @demJem09
Straight up, it was her describing 2 latina women with 'curly hair, thin eyebrows and earrings' that got my gut thinking it was a set up. Good to get closure on this
  • @ChiTownChei
I actually prayed for this woman. Raggedy heffier. Her Latina cell mates will show her what happens to liars. I hope she survives. They better put her in solitary for her protection.
  • @carina8835
it’s insane how she pins her kidnapping on mexican women and makes racial remarks to cover up her AFFAIR!!
  • @MEL-xn4yt
I find it disgusting that she blamed 2 Latina women for her abduction when that’s one of the groups whose cases are often neglected & not given resources. This is beyond egregious. As far as her children seeing her be arrested, after what she put them through that’s nothing.
  • After 40 years and so many true crime and strange true stories I've concluded that people are just totally crazy and I've stopped trying to make sense of it all.
