As a wise man once said : body positive movement is the only movement without movement

Life is like a box of chocolates - it doesn't last as long for fat people.

“I’m not having a go, I’m not having a go” He immediately has a go, God I love Ricky

I was 10 kilos overweight when I saw this and I was still laughing, then I looked in the mirror and decided to lose weight. I'm now back to normal, thanks Ricky.

This is the type of (typically British) comedy that I really love. Irreverent, politically incorrect, straight-in-the-face. Ricky Gervais is just fantastic.

"I don't want fat people to feel uncomfortable at my gigs. So next time, buy two seats" DAAAAAMN
  • The politically correct way of describing someone who is fat is gravitationally challenged

I don't often laugh out loud, but he actually got me at the very end with the quick "they can't get out again" quip.

"Ricky, you can only have one can on stage please." Brings out 1 litre can of beer haha legend
  • Ive used the term heavy set all my life and it does describe an obese person. I had a great friend that weighed 625 when she passed away at 64. The dr said it was a miracle she lived that long. Great friend and cook.

8 years later and more relevant than ever.
  • I remember talking to an older woman when I was doing an installation for her whether she thought getting fat was hereditary. She said “ Don’t be silly, nobody who could walk out of Auschwitz was overweight”. Very very poignant.
