I remember when this aired in 1996. We were expecting a major blizzard that day and after work I went to Walmart and stocked up on things, came home and ordered Dominoes and set all three vcr’s to record it. I was so excited!!! The storm started shortly after the movie started and we got close to 19 inches of snow. It was a fun movie!

Cliff's face at the end. McKay's realisation. Priceless.

JR was my favorite tv character of all time! For as evil as he played JE Ewing he was a great man in real life and it just showed what a great actor he was!

The best part of this is Sly finally standing up to J.R. after so many years.

J.R. coming back in true J.R. fashion. When you watch these scenes it's amazing to think the preparation that goes into it. With wardrobe, makeup, camera angles, etc. The scenes shot on location at the ranch were always the best. Pretty funny the look on their faces when J.R. shows up. I always liked this show so much, particularly Larry Hagman and how he portrayed J.R. In a way you wanted to watch the show because you wanted to see what devious plan he was going to do next. In another way, it would be neat to be him and act those scenes out too 😁. Dallas still one of the best tv shows ever. 1978-1991.

The best part of my youth is from 1978 to 1991 when DALLAS aired on CBS. Rest In Peace Ms. Barbara Bel Geddes, Mr Jim Davis, Mr Larry Hagman and Mr Ken Kercheval. You will be missed but never forgotten by your DALLAS fans forever. Note: From a personal point of view, Larry Hagman's role of JR Ewing made him a living legend until the day he died. Please think positive daily. ©® March 25, 2021 @ 2:15 am ©®

“What’s going on? Bobby throwing a party?” I hate that man, but dammit I LOVE that man!

Haha I like how cliff was smiling the entire time he was shaking the families hands

To some of the younger folks out there, I was a young kid in Southern Africa when this was on TV. We kids had a song that we sang to the tune of Dallas' theme: He's mean, he's rich... He calls his wife a bitch. He drives a bright yellow car... He lives in a palace On the outskirts of Dallas And he calls himself JR. That show was a cultural icon at the time, and JR the main man. RIP, Mr Hagman, you legend!

Only JR Ewing could show up at his own funeral to wreck everyone's head and think it a great thing to toy with everyone's head.
-
JR sure knows how to make an entrance

I remember this. It seems like yesterday. I really cried when he died in they brought back Dallas and he died in the 2nd season. He was a wonderful actor.

The actor who played J.R. Ewing is dead in real life. His name was Larry Hagman. He was a great actor.

I miss this show so much, they need to bring it back before we lose anymore Dallas actors from the original series. I will say Sue Ellen looked amazing & loved her short hair.
-
I remember when this came out in 1996, good ole JR was as diabolical as ever,!!! 😬
-
Cliff Barnes looked like Benny Hill on that reaction shot when JR appeared.
