Kate is a good daughter, sister and overall person. She had trauma with her parents not giving her attention (sometimes people have taumas with this that they feel they are not wanted or something), and when she met Lola she loved her and looked up to her and Lola hurt her. Kate was such good sister for searching for her sister and not even waiting for an apology from Lola. She just wanted to be friends and good sisters with Lola again. Kate is such a wonderful character (one of my favs)❤️

Lola was pretty much pissed off at Kate's parents and wanted to get back at them, but after getting to know Kate and her family better, she eventually realized how wrong she was, especially since Kate had always seen Lola as an actual sister. And I'm glad the protagonist understood and forgave. Reminds me of misha and Neil.
