AWESOME Video! thank you much for the detailed work. I've been looking for this video for a long time, cause I had seen those magnetic sensors before, but had never seen anyone install/use them successfully. Thanks again!

Wow thank you so much for your time and effort in this video. Now I am happy to repair the Volvo. šš»

Great thorough video! I'll be sending you a message as soon as I have the extra $100. I have a 2002 V70 T5 that has 233,0000 miles on it and that's starting to get to be a problem. I'm really happy I don't have to spend $600 for a new one. Thank you sooooo much for the help!

Hi Adi654. Tom Copland here your video is just fine, I bought A proper diagnostic computer to find out what my limp mode was? And it turned out to be the throttle body electronics. So I will order a repair kit as of Monday, and I will watch what you do a couple of times to get it into my head. Thanks.

I did it..works perfectly to me!

I am not sure if you still check these comments but just wanted to thank you for the awesome video, i just finished doing this on my 2000 Volvo S80 with the white label ETM after trying to figure out the issue for so long and almost letting Xmodex rip me off for $700. The check engine light is gone and the throttle works as though I just bought the car brand new.

To everyone asking if you need to reprogramme the ETM the answer is no. Not if you are fixing the one already installed on the car. I just did the job myself and it took me about 2 hours plus time for the silicone to set when resealing the unit. I am a trained mechanic but this job is very achievable for the novice if they have basic spanner and soldering skills. oh and the kind people at Volvo have routed the wire for the module behind the starter motor so the starter needs to be removed. Thanks for the video!

halo! thanks for video! is there need to maybe make correct the positioning for the sensor, or does it have already right voltages? I read in forums, that there is need to check output from sensor, is it right at open, and close throttle positions. Thanks.

Great video, thanks verymuch! I could nt get which pins exactly needet to be connected to each other (soldet) Thanks in advance 4 answer..
-
The throttle body is automatically set open slightly it will change its position during startup
-
Do I need some reprogram if I replace old tps with that?
-
Just did this. No software load afterwards needed. You need to know a little about soldering. Not to easy to do actually. Works perfectly

Thanks for the video. Very helpful. How do I get a Sacer TPS from you? I'm in the UK.
