Fun fact 2: no krieg guardsmen has a name only a number so for example a regimental commander may simply be known as Alpha-1

At 2:13, you just witnessed a servo skull, little helpers of the imperium taken from loyal citizens to serve after death.

So these guys, they are the death Korps of Kreig, and their planet left the imperium, but a few regiments of imperial guard tried to stop it. So they nuked the planet and fought each other for hundreds of years. And they won. Joined into the imperium again and they think they need to earn forgiveness through fighting for the imperium. They never dessert and they never retreat. When other types of imperial guard work with them they’ve had to try and stop them running down chaos marines with just shovels. I love the death korps of kreig just for the fact that if their comissar gets killed, they can happily charge blindly into enemy fire because there is no one to tell them they can't.

The faint smirk on the commissar's face after receiving an advance order just tells he's going to enjoy what happens next.
