  • Great choice of records 👍 led Zeppelin first with turquoise is a big grail for a lot of people....had mine for many years now.
  • @DJBuglip
So many albums on that list, but just one off the top, the original pressing of the Dead Kennedys Frankenchrist with the Winston Smith poster. That'd be a grail album.

Bought my copy of “Maggot Brain” in 1971. It is the “Unipak” album cover. It is in excellent condition, both the pressing and cover. Glad to hear of its value. It has been played on good equipment over the years thank goodness. It’s one of those that I played on certain occasions.

FARM! I lived in Mt. Vernon 1976-1983. They had come and gone before I lived there. They are still the pride of Mt. Vernon. I used to jam with drummer Mike Young and have met their other members way back then. I still regularly talk to people who are friends with the guys, and it was a great suprise to see their album on your list. The record shows up at the local record store (located in the building that once housed Red Fenton's music store, the store that George Harrison bought his first Gretsch guitar from in 1962). They recently had a vg+ to M- copy that they sold to one of their friends for $30.

Morning Dillion, great way to start my Sunday morning, coffee & a top 20 list of rare LP’s. Lucky me, I have the MC5, Zeppelin II & the King Crimson original pressings from my youth. Since I grew up listening to classic rock, I bought them & kept them together all thru decades. Also saw MC5 twice, live in concert at the Swing Auditorium in San Bernardino, Ca.

Great video as usual👍 On a personal note....went to a local record show yesterday and picked up one of my holy grails that I have been looking for now for almost 4 years.....the self titled original US pressing of a band called Glass Harp. This album and band were truly amazing and have never seen one in the wild! The best thing was I was getting ready to leave the show with my bag in hand and noticed a dealer tucked away in the corner that I had not seen....was already WELL over my budget for the day but bit the bullet and paid a pretty penny for this masterpiece! Keep up the great work with your channel👍
  • Court of the crimson king was one of my favorites back in the 70’s. I played mine so much my mother gave me crap about it. Great album!
  • Channels like yours have become a source of finding new material to listen to. Just got done listening to the Fraction album via Tidal..... Wow, love it !!! Liked and Subscribed, looking forward to listening too more of your suggestions.
  • Constantly discovering new (to me) music from your videos. Amazing work, Thanks!
  • love that you mentioned cold fact that and coming back from reality are 2 of my fave albums ever!

Great record collection! I'm always interested in learning about new rare Psych records which were in the past (for us collectors who started in the 70s and 80s, were not well known about). That said, I'm glad to have started collecting when I did, when I see the prices of many of the 60s albums that are now considered to be "grails". Still so much yet to discover though! The internet has made awareness of and availability of so many rare Psych records possible now! Even young folks collecting 80s stuff, are interested in really cool stuff now (often not realizing that those bands were not what most people were listening to at the time, which actually was mostly mediocre top 40 then).

Dude - thanks so much for your channel! Your enthusiasm and knowledge is incredible - and has helped me find new gems after nearly 50 years of collecting. Unfortunately, like many others, I sold a big chunk of my collection at one time. One album I got rid of that is my present holy grail is Love - Forever Changes - the original 1st press mono. Not even because of value as much as it’s one of my top desert island LPs!

I’ve got quite a few of the albums you’ve shown, that I got as they came out in the U.K. So great that you guys still value this great music and the albums are still loved by younger people, there’s a lot of albums I have that maybe valuable, but I will not ever part with them and they will be passed on to my kids in my will! My 2 boys love 60’s and 70’s music they will treasure them as well and for future generations! You should mention the 2 great Jeff Beck albums, Truth and Beck-Ola albums, both are some of the best rock music of the late 1960’s imo!
  • @d_rock_thrifter
I am so glad you showed that Randy Holden album. I've been going through a recent collection I just purchased and remember coming across that one and just pushing it it off to the side. Definitely going to have to dig it back out!
  • @lgf213
My father in law gave me his records recently. I was surprised to see Zeppelin II RL Monarch in his collection. It is in decent condition and sounds great! Love your videos Dillon.
  • @markspooner1224
These records need to be seen on a regular basis, luckily there's someone to show them!
  • As an Alice Cooper collector living in London some of my holy grail records are the Record Store Day Live From The Astroturf, Alice Cooper singles & LP's from Good Records in Dallas. I have become friends with Christopher Todd Penn & met him in the UK a few times with Dennis Dunaway & Cindy Smith Dunaway. The Live From The Astroturf, Alice Cooper movie has had 3 screenings in the UK. I own 2 Willy Wonka split pink/white vinyl singles & 2 Willy Wonka split pink/white vinyl LP's. Also a Confetti LP as well as all the other single & LP pressings.
  • @alanmarsh2018
Great video. I managed to get originals of Rockadrome and Plastic Cloud and a sealed copy of the Big Star album you showed. Great bands, all.
  • @bisket2003
That Fraction records blows my mind on a regular basis, and I have you to thank you for it!!!
