Mantises are such rewarding pets. Yes they have short lives, but they give so much joy in a short time. Their binocular vision means that you feel a connection with them, even if all they're thinking is "Whoa! What's that big creature with the dorky expression?". My current mantis has a broken arm, so I'm waiting to see if she moults and fixes it. Cross your fingers!

What a beautiful Mantis!We have them here in Pennsylvania! Brown ones green ones big ones too! They come down off the mountain on my porch at times. Love the way your Mantis was walking on the the tree branch, he looked like he was doing the Mantis Strutt! So cool! Hehehehe!
