1064 HP?!?!??!!! Take my money, NOW!
  • @malcolmar
Well over 212+ MPH top speed!?!?!? WOW! The fact we get all this insane engineering and hypercar performance which will most likely be at a supercar price. This represents the absolute pinnacle of Corvette engineering.1064 HP on pump gas with no electric motors or batteries to weigh it down while passing emissions and all with a warranty. That is INSANE! Again, WOW! Well done Chevrolet. Well done.

Chevrolet, as a die-hard Corvette fan, I thank you so much for creating the new Corvette ZR1. You probably won't reply, but do know I am a huge fan of the Corvette.

This is the ultimate tease of a reveal. SHOW US WHAT IT CAN DO!

The split rear window and that hp definitely a great swan song Corvette

1064hp without any hybrid assits and on regular pump gas on car undercutting it's rivals by well over half is just ridiculously impressive. GM has been cooking with the c8

I waited for this moment my entire life. This is the end of the internal combustion era, but also the greatest moment in history. FCA did it with the demon 170. It is now the turn for GM. The best of the best is here.

    Brutal. Make V8 great again.
  • I love how everyone thought that the ZR1 was going to make somewhere around 800-900hp. But instead GM decided to say, "Screw it! We're going for 4 digits because we can!" And the best part is that all that power is coming from the engine. No hybrid assist needed which saves a lot of weight as well. Which is good for what is supposed to be a track weapon.

It doesn’t matter what marketing brand or if you’re a die hard European super car lover. An engineering accomplishment such as this ZR1 is just amazing. Just appreciating the engineering that went into this and the team that designed it. Thank you for giving us such iconic car in our lifetime.

I don't like c8's (that much) but this, I haven't been excited about a new car release for a while now. You guys really hit the nail on the head with this one.
