For almost five decades, Bishop T.D. Jakes has passionately embraced prison ministry and the reintegration of inmates into society. In the year 2000, he devoted several days to teaching, delivering sermons, and leading worship at California’s San Quentin Rehabilitation Center. This moving Throwback Thursday video illustrates the profound impact of healing and transformation that unfolded for the souls there. Lives were restored as they were more closely connected with each other and with God through hope and receiving the Word.
