NEVER STOP FOR LAUGHTER, unless you are 1000% sure that there is more than like a third of the audience laughing. It’ll save you a lot of sleepless nights.

Dude 100% had the self awareness to know no one there wanted to hear his jokes, but he didn’t give a fuck and said them anyways. Dudes easily the most confident and personable person in the room. Mad respect

I beg to differ. I attempted standup comedy accidentally at my great grandma’s funeral. First and last funeral I’ll ever attend. It was in a church, she helped run, cooked all the food every Sunday, was the Sunday school teacher. I bombed in front of 50+ people I didn’t know. When the first story lands and everyone’s laughing, don’t tell a second story. This is what I learned.

I feel so bad for the guy, his jokes were pretty good. But then again it seemed like a “distract the guards while I steal the diamond” sorta situation. But I can’t tell a joke worth 💩 so I have no room to talk
