As an Italian, it has a strange effect on me hearing someone saying "sì". Dante said: "bel Paese là dove il sì suona". Hail to our Argentinian brothers from the "hermoso país donde resuena el sí!" However, this video also puzzled me: I've never considered Argentinians to be any less western than us.

For those who don't know, Argentina is a small country sandwiched between Uganda and Kazakstan, East of the Ganges River, the people all from East African stock, speak a dialect of Mexican Swedish and they've recently voted to adopt Islam as the national faith. They are not considered part of the Western world because they still drive stick shift cars.
