Purchased: August 2022 - still works GREAT! youtube.com/post/UgkxxsUnXhGsSJLim_XnMHyQK0u3XVaW-… I live in a studio and during the summer it gets scorching hot - really old building with no ac units. I can’t express how EASY it was to install. This unit has been a life savior during the summer and some days during other seasons where it can still be a bit warm at night. In this small place is my friend, a husky, poodle mix and myself. We need AC - lolI don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment.I don’t understand why the negative reviews since all things mentioned, I personally did not find issues with. Definitely worth it!

I bought one for car camping, got it in a bundle with the delta max and then I bought an extra smart battery. Expensive? Yes very, but worth it to me. What people fail to see with this product is running it from dc power which is way more efficient. I can run this all night in 98 degree heat. It only takes 2 hours to recharge my batteries with a generator or shore power. If I added solar I could dual charge. So running this off of a battery overnight vs running a generator over night is the biggest plus. It cools my car very well. Money well spent in my book. It’s not just limited to this application, I can put in in my rv, tent, small room in the house ect. Next I am going to buy the smart generator. I’m well pleased with my purchase.

I bought one of these and the first thing I noticed was a horrible squealing noise whenever the compress kicks in. I sent a video to Ecoflow support and they suggested a software update. Low and behold that fixed it! Just in case someone had the same issue wanted to share.

I did not expect that the Delta Pro can power the Wave. Now that is a game changer.

Wow ecoflow is making some really cool stuff, I love how they keep the exhaust air separate from the inside air so that your not wasting cooling power.

definitely a neat product, but at at $1500 for the AC alone and $2300 when you add on the battery, I don't see this being much more than a trendy lifestyle product to appeal to the van-lifer/overlander influencer type. Totally unattainable to the average consumer.
  • I'm very impressed on the test you made out in the sun. It does show the Wave does really work can produce cold air wherever you place it.

Definitely glad I stumbled across your channel . definitely one of the most useful channels out there 😊👍👍👍
  • I realize this is a good product, but $2,500 for a pre-order seems pretty steep. Okay, apologies, that price was for a package deal. This unit is $1,200. Still not something I am willing to pay.
  • @mainstay.
Looks great but seriously from $1100 to $4000 ! I don't think so.
  • That airconditioner looks pretty nice especially when you attached both brackets in the front and the back.
  • Too expensive for me at this moment. Waiting for prices to go down! Excellent reviews silvercymbal!
  • If this battery AC units become popular and start selling some, I guarantee that big boy manufacturers will jump on it and reduce cost to be more affordable.
  • I am so used to being scammed by those swamp coolers that it is hard to believe anyone anymore! Luckily I am already a subscriber to your channel.

Been waiting for something like this, wish it was on sale. I’ll be waiting for sure!
  • @hey9784
I think this will work. They redirected any water that may build up to the heating tubes which is actually smart.

Awesome piece of technology I figured it would be expensive and it is.

I live full time in my RV (a 32' Winnebago Brave) on my land in the high desert of southern Arizona - to run the RV generator will burn 1/2 a gallon of gas an hour - I don't have the type of windows that would allow me to use a window a/c or I would, so I opted to getting a portable a/c on rollers 8000 Btu ($280) and park between the 2 front seats and a 2500 watt suitcase style generator on sale at Walmart for ($380) and ran the hoses out the passenger side slider window. The generator burns 1 gallon of fuel for almost 5.5 hours and runs my portable a/c with no problems. I set it up outside using a heavy duty extension cord. I am usually outside in the morning doing chores or running errands. By about 3 pm is the hottest part of the day and that is when I am finished with my day. I put a gallon of gas in the generator and turn on the a/c and it will run till about 8:15 / 8:30 leaving me nice and cool. When the gas runs out around 8:30 is when it starts to cool down outside and that's when I turn on my fans for the rest of the night and run off my batteries. The bad part, this portable a/c pretty much only cools down the living room and kitchen area of the RV. My bedroom is in the back which is blocked by the walls to the bathroom. If it could cool my bedroom also it would be perfect. For me this is my best solution to get a/c and stay cool for the summer. With me being retired on a fixed income there is no way I would spend $1500 to $4000 for this tiny unit and batteries. For under $700 I have a generator I can use all the time to run anything I need including tools and a top notch portable a/c that keeps me cool during the hottest parts of the day.
