You can tell which animators took this as a meme, and which animators took this as seriously.
-
I can’t imagine the battles that were waged over who got to animate the “That’s Mama Luigi to you, Mario” scene
-
The real MVP of this project is whoever got literally two seconds of animation time and decided to spend it on giving Luigi the most fabulous hair known to mankind
-
2:45 is literally the best scene. i cant stop giggling
-
5:00 (sniff) They grow up so fast.
-
-
Rest In Peace Walker Boone, voice actor of Mario in this show and The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3. He passed away on January 29 this year.
-
6:30 is my favourite by far, yoshis face is pure gold
-
5:01 Best 3 seconds of the whole thing, got me soo off guard my god lol
-
Walker Boone would have loved to see this. Rest in Peace. (1944 - 2021)
-
5:28 love the Rodney Dangerfield necktie bit. Hahaha never laughed this hard in a long time.
-
5:32 “Mario, Where Ever You Are.......HHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLPPP!!!!!!” Iconic YTP Cartoon Line In YouTube History.
-
11:09 I want a full version with that art style
-
11:08 I like how this part is based on official Mario artwork.
-
6:54 I am convinced that Julian is a time traveler and did that laugh for Mario
-
The way everyone unanimously decided that Mario’s everyday mode of transport is either by bouncing or rolling-
-
9:32 I really like how Mario and Luigi look here It kinda makes me wish they kept the old outfits
-
4:57 Luigi got locks for days
-
3:08 Why does that “Hi” and the nervous laughter that follows sound so genuine?! Also props to the animator of this scene, their animation style really fits this line!
-
Wow. Five (damn near six) years since this masterpiece was born. I remember seeing this the day it came out a little after my birthday. This was stunning back then and it still is today. Thanks, Electronic Heroes, all the animators who participated, and Tony Rosato, Walker Boone, and Harvey Atkin for voicing the characters we know and love today.
