Munster has infinite patience! He answers questions from these TV figures like he would from kindergarteners. As a car company old timer I had to completely change my thinking based on what Tesla has achieved. I used to be a huge Musk critic and skeptic but now I have had to completely reset my thinking about how cars could/should be manufactured. But unfortunately most of the world has no clue about how Musk thinks.

Sounds some of the folks in the comments had some shorts out there? Along with some PMs we might know 😅

I was involved in road sign designs. Every state every country is different and auto drive can't work everywhere, so, Houston, we have a fundamental problem.

munster is in deep water, keep selling those shares!
  • @kurknielsen
I think we need some disclosure here, do any of these “analysts “ currently hold a position in tesla? Why do they blindly accept Elon at his word given his history?

FSD and robotaxi are two different things. All current cars can become robotaxis. That’s six million so far. The new robotaxi will be a dedicated vehicle designed for Uber-like rideshare. It will have no pedals or steering wheel. It will be built on a next generation platform that can support multiple form factors such as robotaxi, regular small car, small SUV, small van and so on. FSD is the software, which is advancing rapidly. It is no longer beta and is now on two million cars for a free trial. They’ve lowered the cost to $99/mo. Elon just said on the earnings call that they are opening FSD to the rest of the world, including China.
  • @GahMehGrrrr
Nonsense....FSD5 was promised for 2016...."We can do this now" he said. HE IS A LIAR. FSD is still only 2.5
  • @Mortyh25
FSD is level 2 and already a viable product for sale that prevents accidents. It needs to improve 100x to be level 5 but the models, compute and data are in place to get there within months.
  • Japan has been using autonomous vehicles for public transportation for quite some time now...

In the 13 years I’ve owned Tesla I’ve ignored the shorts…I don’t take advice from those who haven’t made enough money to retire…..

If Tesla can launch the robotaxi, stock will skyrocket
  • @francislo2205
All Tesla models looks the same, out-dated, even with refresh, except cybertruck. With cheaper model, there maybe less people will buy the more expensive model? Don't understand this strategy. My friends looking for EV recently no longer consider Tesla because it is going cheap, no longer a luxury brand to them. My friends are considering e-Tron, ID.4, i4 and Rivian. Love my Q4.
  • @charlesmoss8119
Tesla make big bold predictions - that you don’t see for years - to get a new model to market has certain key timeframes associated not least testing in multiple environments - so you would have to have working vehicles already prowling the streets so you could go through a testing cycle - so a cheap version of current vehicles yes - but all new model by 2025?? 😂
  • @jenBaker707
nobody wants fsd or robotaxis or to buy a big battery to use for a few years
  • @chri6393
Tesla has never delivered on time lol
  • @raywest3834
It's a lot easier to promise than actually deliver. Nobody is close to solving the problems of a self-driving car. Tesla is getting hammered by BYD in China; their cars now look dated and the ridiculous Cybertruck is not helping.
  • @BabaYaga826
With China's EV, now more peoples can own a car in Europe
