Building materials are absolutely everywhere if you own a chainsaw mill. I use the Alaskan mill to make 2x4 studs for wall framing and larger lumber for floor joists. This Bernese Mountain Dog is going to have an amazing dog house!

  • Sorry about your back Ryan ☹️. You are so charming. And your new bud is just the cutest thing ever. So glad you found each other. It’s gonna be so cool to see him in his own room. Who knew you’d move from a tent to a two bedroom condo 😂. Love spending Saturday mornings with you guys🇨🇦🥰😉👵👋.
  • Ryan, my husband and I are sure that you did the major damage to your back when you fell on the icy steps.... put some roofing shingles on that porch before winter.... so that you won't fall again... believe me we have both suffered from injuries to our backs... roofing shingles on steps and porches during the winter is a blessing to prevent falls
  • Ryan, I'm looking at that exhaust from your heater, you may want to put an extension on it. It is too close to your dog house. Carbon monoxide isn't something to play with. It doesn't take much to end life.
  • If you use one more pulley on your log lift cable and one more eye bolt in the boom, you can effectively reduce the weight being lifted in half and the chances of the 4 wheeler sliding would be reduced. Just attach the pulley to your log.

Ryan, pay attention. I've said it before - TENS unit -Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation. My back is garbage. It really really does help. The prescription version is much better, but you can buy a less powerful one off the interwebs or at some drugstores. Seriously! Online they're cheap. Totally worth a try.

you could make the dog house floor lower that your cabin floor... , tjhat would allow for a taller interior without raising the roof and help keep out cold air in winter
  • Hello Ryan good to see you starting to work on the dog house can’t wait to see how it’s going to look 👍🥰💕❤️💖🇺🇸🙏

Lower back pain is one of the defects of human body. Many people suffer from it. I can relate.
  • Great dog! My big adult dogs didn't curl up to sleep they would spread out. Great dog house. Thanks.
  • I have a sawmill Woodmizer Lt 40. I enjoy sawing and building stuff. Now when I go saw for someone a couple days I won’t saw for a week then I’ll enjoy it again. When I go saw for someone that’s sawing 8-10 hours a day and I’ll saw 4,000-6000 bdft a day.
  • Honestly… when I took my dog to the beach with the sand… he acted the same like he does in the sawdust. It must be the loss movement of the ground. Mate keep doing what you do. I can’t wait for the weekend to watch your vid. Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿.
  • I had disc probs until I had a 'micro lapindectomy'... it worked! except was very tight for a few years, then I hiked the Appalachian Trail and the scar tissue eased up; so now I can touch my toes and don't have the flare-ups anymore....
