Probably my favorite Cornell song ever. Those who “get” this song are probably deeply introverted thinkers who are battling like hell to get through every day! Keep it up, the sun will rise again tomorrow ❤
  • This song is so very dear to my heart as I dedicated it in memory to my son, Reece Dunton, “my Sonshine” who passed away suddenly and left this plane of existence on Nov 27 2018. Reece was a great guitarist and lived with a vast array of music always playing in his head. I know my Reece is glad to have this particular song, as a memorial from me, to his life here. Reece & my other son, John & I were devastated to hear of Chris Cornell’s passing. We were to have seen him in concert in Dallas the following week. I play this song often & shout out to the heavens...to Reece...to my Sonshine! Sing It Loud Reece & Chris! You will forever be missed!...I will see you on the other side! “I know all your graces someday will flower in the sweet sunshower ♥️ 4E&A, Mom
  • When he died, I cried for weeks. I still cry for him... For his family. Thank you Chris.

This is probably Chris' best solo song and one of his greatest vocal performances ever.
  • The first time I listened to this song was at 3 AM on the other side of town. I was so depressed and ready to end it. I remember this song coming on through my headphones and I sat on the side of the road and cried. I'll never forget that moment. It's been up and down since then, but that was a turning point for me . I still cry when I listen
  • I will never get over this! He had so much more to offer, such a sad loss for all of us.
  • I always pictured Chris singing this song in a hospitals cancer ward helping to heal the sick. I had a virus attack my brain in 2005 and this song still gives me hope that someday I can feel “normal” again. Miss you and your music Chris, thank you for singing the soundtrack of my life. I found my way and I saw it disappear

Chris is one of my all time favorite singer, songwriter and musicians. He is deeply missed.
  • This seriously has to be one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Been a favorite of mine since it was released and carries with it so many memories of my years coming up. RIP Chris. I'll always feel thankful for the music he gave us.
  • Aside from that VOICE......he knew the human condition-like few other. One of the greatest songs ever sung-by a singer who left us far too young. R-I-P.

He was truly an original badass. I seriously doubt anyone has matched what chris cornell brought to the table. An unmatched artist in a class of his own and the world won't be the same without him.

the rain is a funny thing...it sounds so soothing but then subtly creeps into you like someone's lost tears...like Chris singing about things that hurt him the most but couldn't really tell anyone except through song. That is how it always is with the beautiful ones. I miss you Chris. I still write about everything that hurts me. I've learned that we must always embrace our greatest fears and greatest pains in order to even try to begin to understand our own ironic existence in this fucked up world. We try our best...and sometimes the weight is too fucking much! Love ya bro...Rain Song to you and any of my 'friends' who truly remain <3

When you find your way and you see it disappear. So many have felt that way and Chris knew that some how. Rest in paradise beautiful soul you touched us in only a way that you could.
  • @ironmyno
More talent in him than anyone I can think of .. he had it all. I'll never get over his death 💔

Lyrics Dark as roses, And fine as sand Feel your healing And your sting again I hear you laughing And my soul is saved On forgotten Graves you cry Crawl like ivy Up my spine Through my nerves And into my eyes Cuts like anguish Or recollections of Better days gone by But it's alright When you're all in pain And you feel the Rain come down Oh, It's alright When you find your way Then you see it disappear Oh, It's alright Though your gardens grey I know all your graces Someday will flower Oh, Oh Whoa In the sweet sunshower In the sweet sunshower Eyes like oceans So far away A feather trail To a better way Worried mornings Turn into days Then into worried nights But it's alright When you're all in pain And you feel the Rain come down Oh, It's alright When you find your way Then you see it disappear It's alright Though your gardens grey I know all your graces Someday will flower Oh, Oh Whoa In the sweet sunshower Oh, In the sweet sunshower Ooh Ooh Oh, In the sweet sunshower In the sweet Sweet, Sweet Sunshower Oh, Oh I know all your graces Someday will flower In the sweet In the sweet sunshower And it's all right All you'll be you are today Are today It's all right All you'll be you are today Are today Are today Are today Are today Are today

I loved Soundgarden and Audioslave but this solo track is my very favorite, just so beautiful. Goodbye Chris.
