Oh man, I love new channels and this is a bucket list adventure. I grew up in Marin County where there are lots of abandoned railways, and as the county that invented the Mountain Bike for riding on Mt. Tam I would LOVE to ride the old, abandoned Mt Tam railway that was thriving in the 1940's. Now, most of society cares about their phone, and not going out to explore. I hope to learn something from this and get some inspiration.

That’s a great build, I love the contrast from the younger YouTubers doing this - safety aspects - helmets and kill switch 😂😂, that’s me now, but if I was back in the 80s…… 🤔🤔 🙄🙄

Do you people ever go with organized groups that have the restored railroad inspection carts? I have seen videos of groups of 20 - 30 of those on a tour. I know that they plan ahead and get permits to do that.

Why do so many people refer to a single unit as a train? Even the factory built railspeeder is not considered a train. It is considered a work car or just a speeder. Your rail carts are more like speeders.
  • How about some close ups of how you put it together can;t see anything
  • Why did you use a torque converter instead of a centrifugal clutch? Thanks.
