I mean, technically if we put an orange triangle on the back and call it farm equipment we can drive it to town for lunch, right??…

The largest grader ever built was the one-of-a-kind monster built by Italian contractor Umberto Acco in 1980, for use on a major contract in Libya. Its 33-foot blade, front and rear engines totaling 1,700hp and running on 12 large tires, ensured the ACCO overshadowed everything else built to date in the grader field.

Came to watch after Casey's video. Really enjoyed the different perspective, and the passion for the work. Well done all. Shoutout to dad, for quietly knowing what to do. Dad's be like that.

Ran a 24M at the coal mine here. We had 2 and we looked after about 16 miles of haul road & about 110 feet wide: The haul road was this wide because we walked our draglines and shovels on it
  • So what do you guys think? Certified rebuild? Or tear down and rebuild all components?
  • @TheGeezzer
95,000hrs is the equivalent of the vehicle running 24hrs a day, all week, all month, all year, for about 11 years non-stop day or night. Now that is some serious usage right there and it still kicked up like a recent vehicle with something like 95hrs on it. TOTALLY Amazing! 😲
  • Shoutout to trees for creating light load surfaces with amazing strength

The grader that acco built was the biggest but unfortunately it was never  delivered because of trading restrictions and dismantled for scrap . It was a beast
  • @paintlover70
Have to give a shout out to whoever was doing the maintenance on that beast !
  • @ThePullnfool
Looks like you got a little close to a guard rail with the right side tires on the machine..
  • @13bigerdave
when I was a kid I had a Tonka Grader bigger than that
  • @duanebuck193
I love the startup sequence sound on that thing - sure doesn't sound at all like the 3126 in my RV!!

Used to have a 24H at Barrick Goldstrike near Carlin, Nevada about 25 years ago. I preferred the 16G because it was more maneuverable.
  • The way these heavy construction machinery convert raw materials into towering structures is astounding.
  • …must be SUCH a thrill to accept such a fantastic challenge…! Good luck Hope you come out grandly on top…your energy and enthusiasm is vastly infectuous and great to follow‼️
  • @MadWiking

That thing really does sound like a locomotive, and it's nearly as big as one.
