Wisconsin inmate reportedly confesses to murder of Teresa Halbach

A Wisconsin inmate confessed to the murder of Teresa Halbach, according to the director of an upcoming documentary about the case made famous in the Netflix documentary Making a Murderer.

Shawn Rech, who’s working on a documentary called Convicting a Murderer, said the inmate confessed to killing Halbach, reported Newsweek on Monday, Sept. 23. The inmate’s identity was not immediately known to the public because Wisconsin law enforcement had not had access to the confession as of Tuesday, however, Steven Avery's attorney revealed the identity Tuesday afternoon when she tweeted the confession: Joseph Evans Jr. via.fox6now.com/Hk1NK

They should offer a reward for someone to report the corruption of LE in this case, now that I’d like to see
  • I never believed for 1 second that this man was guilty .I do believe that dirty police department did set this innocent man up .I will pray for Steven & his nephew everyday until they both are released .

This case is an example of how corrupt law enforcement is, that's what really needs to change.

Something that he said that was totally true “poor people lose”.

Here are some facts the detective who " found " the keys laying in plain sight was part of a police dept that was not supposed to be there......another officer who checked that spot the day before said the key was not there...... Avery's blood sample that was " locked " in evidence had clearly been tampered with and the police chief at the time said had Avery not been released that young lady would still be alive. He was released after 18 years because he was innocent....not on some ridiculous technicality....he was innicent.
  • They knew from day 1 they weren't guilty. They will reap what they sow. They've put this family through hell. The true killer is out there, this whole thing is beyond heartbreaking and ridiculous.
  • I feel really bad watching "Making of a Murderer" for Avery and Brenden dassey. Police can do anything to cover their incompetence. I wish speedy freedom, to both of them.
  • Can't wait to see steven and Branden free ....... she s such a good lawyer go girl. No one deserves to be behind bars for nothing. ........ Glade their is someone like her.

What man about to receive millions would kill a woman and leave everything on his property!? Just blows my mind and makes absolutely no sense. That whole county seems shady! I’m sorry but if I was on the verge of obtaining millions there is no way I would do anything to jeopardize it! Sure as hell wouldn’t leave it all over my property for the police to find. I don’t think they’re the brightest but surly they have more brains than that. The car , the key etc was to easy to find. What is Stevens motive to kill Teresa ? What is the county’s motive? Who gained more from her death? Not to mention the confession from the nephew. That was wrong on so many levels. He is not mentally competent and those detectives knew that.
  • Brandon threw his uncle under the bus so he could get to class on time and was shocked when he was convicted too.

This all boils down to this county not wanting to pay steven avery the money he was owed from being falsely imprisoned the 1st time for a rape he never committed. I am 100% that Brandon's brother was involved. My blood pressure sky rocketed when I watched this documentary bc I was so pissed how everything happened

Steve Avery is innocent don't you think he would have crushed the car and got rid of it I don't see anybody on their junkyard and killing somebody and park the car on their property doesn't make any sense.

The .22 bullet that was found in the garage didnt even have human DNA on it originally, just wood. According to Steven's landlord, the owner of the red trailer said he had a lot of bullets and shell casings everywhere even the lawn because he used to shoot chipmunks and gophers. The detectives didn't even use luminol in Steven's bedroom to check for blood or blood splatter if there was really a murder that happened there. No chain marks on the bed posts. Plus Chuck and Steve saw tail lights and headlights on the property on Nov 3 and that detectives just dismissed it then on Nov 5 Teresa's car was found in the property magically with just branches leaning on it. If you are a murderer, aren't you going to destroy the evidence that would incriminate you? That Kratz withholding 1200 copies of evidence from the defense attorneys is clearly a Brady violation not to mention ethical violation including what they saw on Bobby Dassey's computer about pictures of women who were raped, gagged, mutilated, bestiality, rotten bones of girls and whatnot. They didn't include the part as well that a truck driver saw Teresa's car abandoned on Q road near Scott Tadych's house on Nov 4 which is so far away from Avery's salvage yard and that truck driver told Colborn about it but Colborn didnt report that he saw it lol. The truck driver texted Scott Tadych about it since he knew him and Scott just replied he wasnt feeling well and that he will call tomorrow and after the murder bought a house near where the car was ditched ahahaha! The last cellphone signal detected of Teresa was on Kuss Road at 2:41 on Oct 31st when she received a call from a friend. This case is so shady from the start. They can't afford to pay Steven $36 million and he have shamed them coz of wrongful conviction so they wanted revenge. That ex-bf of Teresa i bet is on it, too that Ryan Hillegas guy.Teresa had a day planner with her on the day she went to the salvage yard on Oct 31st and how come Ryan had Teresa's planner on Nov 3rd after she went missing? Lol. Said they got the planner from Teresa's residence hahaha! I don't know who between Scott, Bobby or Ryan killed Teresa but am sure it's one of these guys and the state is protecting them because they all want to pin it on Steven and everything that happened was a big favor to them. The state or that judge Sutkiewicz denied motion to reconsider coz they're getting scared now 😂
