BREAKING NEWS: SONY HONDA Mobility Inc. Is The New Name Formally Given to the Two Industry Giants New EV Business Joint Venture. The Partnership and Joint Venture Was Recently Announced And Is Expected To Be Established In Tokyo Before The End Of 2022 With Sales For The SONY Electric Vehicle And Mobility Services Set To Begin In 2025. This Is Not The First EV Announced By SONY As They Previously Teased Us At CES 2020 With Their VISION S Concept Car. HONDA On The Other Hand, Has Been A Little Slow To Bring An EV Platform To The Table. In 2021 HONDA Announced Plans To Shift To All Electric And Fuel Cell Vehicles By 2040 And Will Invest $40 Billion And Launch 30 New EV's By 2030. Meanwhile, SONY Continues to Tease Us With Their Second All Electric Entry, The VISION S 02 All Electric SUV. SONY Said In A Statement "The Partnership Will Utilize Honda's Cutting Edge Environmental And Safety Technologies, Mobility Development Capabilities, Vehicle Body Manufacturing Technology, And After-Sales Service Management Experience. Meanwhile, Sony Will Contribute Imaging, Sensing, Telecommunication, Network And Entertainment Technologies."
