There are two things you missed since they got lost in translation: when she says "...sorry if it splashes you" which in Spanish purposely translates "perdón que te salpique" but she pauses when she says "sal... pique" as Pique es the last name of her ex. Also, she says " she has the name of a good person clearly it's not what it sounds like". In Spanish "clearly" is broken down as "CLARA (clear) ...mente (ly)" and Clara is the name of her ex mistress (now girlfriend).

Hi! Fellow voice teacher here - thank you so much for giving a shout out to her song “Ojos Así”! To say I was obsessed with this song as a teenager would be a vast understatement. The first time I heard it I had it on repeat for a week! 😂 A lot of Americans are lukewarm about Shakira but she’s truly an amazing musician and master of her craft. All her songs are amazing but her her older songs are chef’s kiss
